  • On the occasion of D-Day commemoration ceremonies, the Queen of England is paying an official state visit in France and will be attending a banquet as the guest of honor at the official residence of the President of the Republic of France, the Elysée Palace. This documentary film will describe the event from the kitchens of power, the true vitrine of French gastronomy which has been on Unesco's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity since 2010. We will follow the work of the teams of the famous chef Guillaume Gomez, from the conception of the menus to the selection of products with the best French producers as well as the installation of the reception hall. A true challenge for a prestigious guest.

When we compare this video to Secrets of the British Royal Kitchen, there are striking differences. The Elysee chef has control over the menu and makes his side dish decisions at the last minute, based on produce available. In England, however, the Queen personally approves all menus and preparations are rehearsed so that each event works like a master production. None is focused on planning and the other on inspiration. Fascinating.

In England the Chef presents multiple proposed menus to the King/Queen Consort, based on the products available ..the monarch decides amongst the multiple menus presented to her, taking into consideration the visiting dignitaries diet preferences, especially if it's religious dignitary...For Hindus, the monarch might chose a vegetarian dinner, For Muslims, the palace will serve only halal meat...also the monarch will take into consideration, the personal preferences of the visiting dignitary as well

I would add just one thing out of so many more! Why the titanic was torpedoed! There was one gentleman on that ship 🚢 the elites wanted to kill because he was a very powerful man and knew the federal reserve would be a disaster for the American people! The Rottenschilds wanted the it but he didn’t, so everyone on that boat had to perish as they meant nothing to that satanic family as per usual so they sink it, along with our rights to decide our own manifest destinies! The whole ruling class are nothing but psychotic inbred psychopaths yet we do nothing about it because most people vilify the truth as it’s too horrific to accept! They can’t see the downfall of their own humanity so they keep their eyes tightly closed because it’s like their own, sh*t, small, warm and comfortable if not familiar! Thank you sir 👏😎

After living in France I now have a hard time accepting the English lack of service and our inability to make eating out a special experience.

That 70 Euro per person meal would probably cost 250 Euros at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant.
The wine selection was impressive. Chateau D'yquem ! Yum.

That's probably because you're paying for the Gordon Ramsay name as well as the food.
      All name brands are overpriced.
Plus Ramsay is one of if not the most famous chef in the world.

Nobody. If you have to ask who then they’re not famous in my book.
