Harry pointed out they removed the two finger's iconic paper wrapper and foil I loved to unwrap as a kid, but then they both bit into them like a regular bar!

Who remembers when there was a competition two years ina row to choose the next kitkat chunky flavour? - aslo they brought back kitkat pops last year, but i dont think they’re available anymore

It says “ why contain milk” on the vegan on as it’s made in a factory that uses milk so it’s there for people who are deathly allergic to milk as there is a minuscule chance of cross contamination. It is a vegan recipe though with no milk in the ingredients. Any item that doesn’t have the allergy in it but is made in a factory that handles allergy ingredients has to state this for legal reasons in the UK. So you’ll see it often on vegan items.
It's the same reason a package of suger cookies may warn you about nuts.
If you see peanut butter with the warning "may contain peanuts", on the other hand... it also makes perfect sense. People have made that mistake before...
I literally bought a tub of sweet and sour chicken and it had may contain nuts it’s just for legal reasons

I'm American and British Kit Kats rule! Those Orange ones are insanely good. I have moved to the UK and the chocolate is incredible compared to back home. As for the price, prices in the US are getting out of control. I took a trip back home recently. 6 bucks for a dozen eggs!! WTF! The same in the UK is about £2.80 which is like 3 bucks 50!

I'm a proud American, but the UK does chocolate better, period. Not as well as the Swiss or Belgians, but better than the US. All of it comes at the expense of historically exploiting Africans and South Americans so ya know... Cadbury is at least honest about that.

My mom brought me some Canadian KitKats because I missed them due to USA KitKats being different. And it was wonderful! The chocolate is so creamy outside of the USA, while inside, it’s a little grainy. Much like Hershey’s-made Cadbury chocolate versus actual Cadbury chocolate
Canadian here. Bought a US kitkat at the airport flying out of JFK and ended up throwing it away after one bite, it was so gross I thought it had gone bad. Did not realize the US has a different recipe.
The us recipie uses corn starch instead of sugar so that is probably the main reason for the difference.
I am happy I am not the only one who notices this. Every time I go to Canda I have to pick up the kit kats because they are so much better.

Fun fact. I'm coeliac so can't eat normal kitkats but in the UK they have made the festive Easter Bunnies and Father Xmas characters using gluten free biscuit pieces rather than wheat wafers, so they are gluten free! Don't taste the same but its a nice touch

The popcorn chunky Kit Kat was the best chocolate bar ever! So sad to see it discontinued, until I found them being sold off in B&M for 20p each, so I bought loads! 😉

I've had so many different types of kitkats: there was this dried raspberry and dark chocolate kitkat, a mint chocolate kitkat, a new york philidelphia cheesecake kitkat, golden kitkat, matcha kitkats (I love these) and this popcorn kitkat that was real tasty. I got these in the UK, although the matcha flavoured ones were imported from Japan, but I got them in a HMV.
One of the small joys of life was rubbing the foil into the chocolate logo & peeling it away. Bring back the old packaging. They say this new one is more recyclable, but because it doesn't look it, I keep forgetting & bunging it in the bin 🙄

i’m from the uk and there are flavours i have had that aren’t in this video, these being the ruby kitkat and the zebra kitkat! i used to love the ruby one although haven’t seen it in a while
First, apple pie Kit-Kat is amazing. Second, we have white chocolate Kit-Kats here in the U.S. That isn't a U.K exclusive. As well as the Kit-Kat cereal.

I’ve seen loads more flavours in the uk. there (was?) like a zebra one and a “cookies and cream” flavour which was like milk and cookie flavour white chocolate. I’ve seen a lot more flavours of chunky too

Vegan here, a lot of vegan products “may contain milk”, this is an allergy warning for milk allergy sufferers due to cross contamination of it being made around or even using the same equipment as products containing milk. The majority of vegans don’t care about may contain and cross contamination as long as the product doesn’t contain animal products on the ingredients list.

We have more Kit Kat varieties than either the UK or the US (possibly combined).

It's insanely good. I'm American but live in the UK and honestly the food is so much better here. It is nice to eat stuff with natural ingredients and not full of stuff that sounds like it belong in a science lab. Oh and there is no high fructose corn syrup here either. Period!

It's May 2023 and I just saw Kit Kat cereal in the U.S for the first time.
Yessss food wars is back
For those that didn't know. KitKat was originally made in the UK by Rowntrees a British company and at the time was the world's 3rd largest chocolate company in the world. Rowntrees licenced KitKat to Hersheys, as Cadburys did also with some of their products.
In 1988 Nestle made a hostile take over of Rowtrees one of the oldest chocolate companies 1862.
However, going back to the UK vs US KitKat. There is no comparison, as Americans that have tasted both, claim and prefer the UK version. As we know, Hersheys gained a court injunction and won, so that all imports of UK chocolate products (Including the UKs original KitKat) would be banned. The asking question is...Why? But I think we all know that one!

the may contain milk is probably just encase of accidental cross commination as they're made in the same place as regular kitkats so "may contain milk" is so they dont get sued or something. XD
I wished they made the seaonal flavors all yr round. The strawberry and lemon kitkats need to stay. Also yes, please explain the Hershey's relationship...Cadbury's in the 00s (better quality) do not taste like the ones in the US stores now.
US has a White Chocolate Kit Kat, but it's a seasonal item mostly brought out at Valentine's, Easter, and Christmas.
Nestle has white chocolate KitKat too.
