You can’t beat the alpine, one of my favorite places. This summer I’m hoping to run/fastpack a few Sierra classic loops, one being the Evolution Loop. Not sure if I’ll Bivy or just run the entire loop. Cheers Chad
Been watching you since back in the East coast days and it’s fun to see you still at it now in my neck of the woods. Keep making videos, it’s fun to preview trails before I hike them myself. Sharing gpx files somehow would be a nice addition! Cheers!
Wow, you've been watching the channel for a while then! Posting the GPX file could be a great idea actually. Thanks for the tip, maybe I will start doing this. Also thanks for being a long time subscriber, I love to hear it! Cheers
Love your videos. It's great to see where you go and I'm amazed by the beauty. This one reminds me of my youth and hiking/camping up there. Good to see it again.
@@AndyOnTheMountain We always loved it. It's so amazing and different every time you go. Started in the 80s with Boy Scouts and kept at it until I moved out of CA. Still miss it, though the Cascades are something as well. Keep up the show, we're all loving it!
@@WillCulbertsonIT You have seen the change in gear - I'm sure you appreciate the lighter weight tents and packs vs what it used to be. It was probably normal to be carrying a 60 pound pack. The Cascades are pretty amazing as well! Actually the Cascades were my favorite mountain range when I hiked the PCT. Cheers
This is awesome man! Like I said at work watching your videos gives me a glimpse of the sierras that I’ll never see. This motivates me to train so that I can summit a peak one day!
Beautiful! I wish i was hiking today, maybe not as much hiking but sitting in the wilderness and enjoying the fresh air. But I guess somehow you have to get there.
They dont all go to plan! A great video mate.
Cheers
Beautiful trails and mountains! Awesome adventure despite the misroute.

I bet you enjoyed your time in the Sierra - it’s such a special place.
I imagine not many people around?

Another great video bro! Keep them coming!
Thanks, I'll do my best to post more.
I like tea before bed when backpacking too. Relaxing and something to do when I get to camp instead of just instantly going to bed.
What's your tea of choice?
- Tea then writing about the day or drawing the landscape outside my tent is a favorite.
@@AndyOnTheMountain I take a variety, but always decaf because I want to try and sleep. Last trip the Earl Grey really hit the spot. What about you?
@@speed_of_a_human Now that sounds good! Typically Kava tea or sometimes chamomile.

Heck ya, are you looking to summit a peak in the High Sierra?
You got this!
@@AndyOnTheMountain that’s the goal man I’m not sure what peak yet but to see views like these im all for it man

You know what they say: It’s not about the destination it’s the journey.
Sitting and enjoying fresh air is nice.
Cheers
maybe not all you wanted but Wow some intense hiking up there and awesome views thanks for taking us with you
It was a beautiful trip for sure.. Sometimes it’s a bummer not doing the trip you had planned but I can’t complain lol.
