if you dont want to make two characters, you can manually use your squads abilities and they will count. you will unlock the trophies as your play through the game.
Do I have to use some abilities on enemies? Some I was able to get just using them and spamming, out of combat, but, some of them don't seem to be unlocking
Something worthwhile to note, if you've basically got ~11 of the masteries done, put all your skillpoints to the one or few skill you need and any related skills that reduce cooldown to help you burn through it. Maybe even save before you spend your skill points, that way you can focus on one and just use the assigned skill button instead of pulling up the wheel everytime.
This is a good tip too!! I actually found out after doing this video that squad usage DOES count towards progress, so this is very easy to get. If you want it early though - 100%!!

It was easy to get these in the original version. You could just use the abilities and it would count. In this version you actually have to use the majority of the abilities on enemies.
It's actually way easier now! You don't have to use most of them on an enemy - really only AI Hacking AND the squadmates using their powers now counts!
I tried for about 45 minutes with kaiden and liara and could not get throw, lift, stasis, warp, and singularity to pop. It wasnt until I used them In combat that those finally worked.

Guides I've seen for the original release say you can use biotic abilities on the citadel rapid transit terminals. Do you know if that's true and if it still works for legendary edition?
Yeah, it is! Did it yesterday! For neural shock you have to cast it on Mako, and for ia hacking you need real enemies Everything else can be done on rapid transit terminals
Hey dude, I’m currently playing ME 1 Legendary on the Xbox withe the soldier to attain the assault rifle bonus skill so I can begin my infiltrator campaign with the assault rifle, anyway I looked up the assault rifle trophy in the achievements on the extras menu and I can’t find any of the weapons trophies, only the powers trophies are shown there, I hope this doesn’t mean the assault rifle trophy doesn’t exist in the Xbox version! So I don’t suppose you know what’s going on with that at all?
Since you are post game it shouldn't really matter. By then I'm sure youve used all of the abilities enough to have them unlocked in subsequent playthroughs 🤷
I AM on ps5. Got ALL three plats. Did ALL 3 mass effect in insanity. My last run was in mass effect 2. But didnt got insanity trophy III. I dont know what to do. Searched in Net but no helps.
Yup! I'll have videos for how to unlock all of the trophies! The series itself will also cover 100% of the game, but make sure you are talking to EVERYONE and hacking everything you can!
bro i did what you did but the turrets and the guy attack me and they can nearly oneshot so its frustrating to spam stuff this way, why they don't attack you instead?
Idk if this is a bug but there is another way i just go to a abandoned planet with my engineer shep and liara and kaiden and just spam their abilities off cooldown i didnt need q target just fired them into the air and i got all the achievements
The only issue with that one is that you'd need to progress further in the game - although it does sound like a bug that they wouldn't have a cool down and that some abilities would even count!

Most can just be used, some need to have a target. This method is the best because it ensures both. BUT squad usage also counts now - it didn't in the OG Mass Effect
So idk what’s wrong but I just beat 1 and 2 on insanity and didn’t get the achievement for 2 also didn’t count my liara romance in 2 so unless like it’s a bug and gets fixed I’m not 100% the game
Pretty sure you have to do one of the romancable squadmates. Continuing Liara or Ashley doesn’t count, but thats okay because Tali is the best option lets be honest
ONLY PICK WEAPON TALENTS ON ADEPTS, ENGINEERS, AND SENTINELS. THE DIDN'T FIX THE BUG THAT CAUSES ONE OF YOUR POWERS TO DISAPPEAR. Also Using powers on rapid transit terminals counts. I wish all bonus talents had just been given on new game in this edition.
@@MissildineOnline I got it now, IDK why... I went to sleep and if I count correctly after using it 11 more times, I got it the next day which I call BS, there is no freaking way I hit less than 25 times in span of 2 hrs
If you choose the adept for Shepard, level Tali and Kaiden accordingly you will only have to play through once before restarting a new game to get the bonus ability.
@@MissildineOnline I played Vanguard for my first playthrough. 2nd playthrough I will do an insanity run and either pick Adept or Engineer. I'm sure Sentinel is the worst class in the trilogy.
Sentinel can be really, really good - especially on higher difficulties! They also made it so that your squads power usage counts towards the ability trophies
I found it easiest to get ai hacking in the final geth complex (where you get data for tali). You have a juggernaut upstairs you can hack as much as you like. I just kept the team at the door, hid myself behind a wall and just reused ai hacking on him over and over again. Make sure you team is behind a wall or they will kill him though. He will keep shooting rockets against wall if you just hide at the right spot. Also can do medigel one on the same planet if you barely get dmg to use it (or any hazard planet). Just let hazard fill up and let it hurt you, just keep using medi-gel till your out, go back to ship medical bay, refill and go back down to planet and repeat till you get it done ^^
This works BUT kinda takes a while to get to, and if you only want to get the extra power real quick so you can make your perfect Shep, Fist is the earliest
@@MissildineOnline True, but since you can do all of them in one run, I think it shouldn't matter how fast you do it? I think constant reloading will be more time consuming then hacking one add, but thats just my personal view :) It took me like 10-15 minutes on the juggernaut getting the last hacks (prolly 15 or so since the cd is long) after doing some on the geth missions before this (i just used tali since I was infiltrator)
@@devilin790 yeah if you are just doing it for the trophy do it whenever! Some people want to unlock the ability to use on, say, an adept or something right out of the gate!

With the use power trophies. Does it have to hit an enemy or does it count if it completley misses and hits the wall? I suck at using biotics on me1

I did that too. I must've pressed the button too quick because I was wondering why I had no powers then realised after the ending I was a soldier 😂
The Neural Shock trophy will be very grindy because the only person who have that ability is Kaiden, unless you are an Engineer or Sentinel

Allies ability usage actually counts towards this trophy, so you can get it at any time!

And YES! They changed it so that allied abilities count!
Also, you can spam the mako and will work just ai hacking doesn't work on the mako

Weapon stuff like that doesn't exist at all now. You have proficiency with every gun in this version of the game
Is there a way to do Tactician after you’ve completed ME2? I’ve done all the side missions or at least the one I know about.

I actually don't know the answer to that - I always play with squad power usage off and manually select it

Yes, but they are just available after you beat the game and you don't REALLY need them

It really depends on certain abilities. Singularity, for example, just has to be used. Same for barrier

You should really redo this video so people don’t have to do this twice like I had to do it.
How do you mean? It's still a relevant way of unlocking everything quickly and getting a Shep with a bonus talent for your actual playthrough
