- Mission Tiki Drive-In was in operation for over 60 years, coming to and end in 2023. I'm very sad to see this go. Here's one last look before warehouses are built.
This was part of my childhood 😢
Great memories, my first job as a teen, and what helped me start my business. Will really miss those days. Will never forget. Thanks Jerry for making video.

miss this place, worked there as a teen from 1993-1998.
Thank you for sharing this video and letting us know, all I have is the nice memories from this place growing up now.
I'm 41 and since I was a baby my parents would take us there to walk and shop, then I grew up to a toddler and loved to stop at every spot for a toy lol. Then I had my kids and would still go and was always a good time. I Remember clearly all the people that sold stuff, the Indian lady that sold glasses in the entrance my the ticket booths, the ones that sold all the good candy and fruits, awww man its hard not to be sad. Good memories!
The nice part is the pandemic gave people the opportunity to visit the Tiki Drive In for a last year or so. I remember going to swap meets at the Tiki. It is sad that it fell out of favor with the public and could no longer turn a profit for the owners. 😴
I'm at least greatful I was able to take my kids here to enjoy before closing down I've always dreaded this time of the drive in closing such great memories here with my family growing up
I used to go there all the time and to hear about this it's sad . So many go their to sell

I went there a bunch around 2011. This is really sad to hear.

Sad day, the end of era. I used to work there when I was in high school, it was just Mission Drive In Theater not Tiki.
