Some improvements: - The 1st rinse should be in a glass bowl. NOT inside the bag. (the debris and dirt is trapped inside the hemp bag and stays with the sprouts) - The 'soaking' period should be in the hemp bag lying in a GLASS bowl. Not Aluminium!! (Aluminium residue leaches into the water absorbed by the sprouts) - Storage should be in Glass (not plastic). Plastic (even BPA free) has other compounds that leech into food. Glass is safer - Use Mineral Water for the Soaking (obvious reasons)
thanks for the demo, the hemp bag is awesome, I just started sprouting in one. In the next one can you show a shot of inside your fridge? Just curious what it looks like.
My sproutman's bag says not to use detergents & such....only place the bag in boiling water to disinfect it. So I can use your methods without ruining my bags? Really enjoy watching your videos ;0)
Your VDO is pretty impressive, I have problems of germinating Winged Beans, any suggestion and advice will be very appreciated. First I have tried after I soaked the seeds for two days and put in the soil, it failed. Now I use your method. I put the seeds inside the hemp bag and I put it inside a plastic cup with a little bit water, hemp bag has a kind of tail to use a wick, seeds are not in the water. Still now there is no sign of sprouting.
I keep getting MOLD on my Arugula & black sunflower seedlings. I've tried Coir ventilation outside MOLD I've tried trays no soil no coir MOLD. HELP, please! Did you sprout regular lentils from the grocery store? I was told I needed sprouting seeds.
I'm planning to sprout in a plastic bag with lots of holes. BTW is the any information online where one could see which seed get sour or maximum days for sprouting.
You have a great radio voice!
This is so cool! I've been using jars and I tried a stackable system which I didn't like. I'm curious to try the bag system. Thanks!

Yes. Once they've soaked sufficiently, they are digestible. They are more nutritious with a little sprout action.
6:00 - Putting the PRODUCE in even when still wet? Or air-dry first? Mold risk? How many days in the bag?
Great lesson! Thanks!

Don't teach your kids about centrifugal force, there is no such thing as centrifugal force.
