  • Very easy and simple way to store your plate carriers and helmets keeping them off the floor and ready to go. Made with standard piping found in your local hardware store.

    Pretty neat! I have been thinking of making a stand-up hanger. I have an Idea in mind. This is pretty cool tho. I like it!

      Awesome man, look forward to seeing what you come up with. Definitely better than having stuff thrown on the floor or on a shelf somewhere

    Curious, ya guesstimate how far off the wall the entire setup, carriers included, comes out? I have a lil "nook" behind a door that I guesstimate is about 10in total. Wouldn't want the door to not be able to clear. Great lil project. Thanks for sharing

      I’ll measure tonight after work but I’d say it only sticks out about 8” from the wall, will confirm in a couple hours.

      With my plate carrier I’m under the 10” mark. With my helmet just have to angle it downward and it’ll clear if you sit it straight it will be slightly over the 10” clearance

    I've been meaning to make one for the walk in save, but as a master plumber I don't like jacking with that stuff at work or after.

      Haha I hear that. Luckily you can be done in a matter of minutes and not have to traumatize yourself too much after working hours

      Not too professional but the bronze was a cool look lol. These things are strong AF too.

    What was the total price of the build? I love the look..

    • @RidinDirtyOutdoors
      @RidinDirtyOutdoors  9 месяцев назад

      I wanna say just under 100 dollars. That was buying it all new at Lowe’s, I’m sure if you have stuff laying around it could be even cheaper.
      Most of the pre built kits I saw were near that price or more and very sketchy materials

    What size of plywood did you use 3/4, or 1/2 in. 12"×?"

    • @RidinDirtyOutdoors
      @RidinDirtyOutdoors  3 месяца назад +1

      It’s not plywood, it’s sanded poplar board from Lowe’s in their craft wood section. Comes in like 4ft lengths. Just cut it to what I wanted.
