Curious, ya guesstimate how far off the wall the entire setup, carriers included, comes out? I have a lil "nook" behind a door that I guesstimate is about 10in total. Wouldn't want the door to not be able to clear. Great lil project. Thanks for sharing
With my plate carrier I’m under the 10” mark. With my helmet just have to angle it downward and it’ll clear if you sit it straight it will be slightly over the 10” clearance
I wanna say just under 100 dollars. That was buying it all new at Lowe’s, I’m sure if you have stuff laying around it could be even cheaper. Most of the pre built kits I saw were near that price or more and very sketchy materials

I’ll measure tonight after work but I’d say it only sticks out about 8” from the wall, will confirm in a couple hours.

It’s not plywood, it’s sanded poplar board from Lowe’s in their craft wood section. Comes in like 4ft lengths. Just cut it to what I wanted.
