hi guys!!! I know most of you probably don't know much about terrariums and/or aquariums, but I'm going to ask anyway (this text I'm going to comment in many videos, so it may not make sense. i watch the full video tho)
ok, my situation is as follows: i have an old aquarium that i'm going to convert into a paludarium (mix between a terrarium and an aquarium). it's almost 20(50cm) inches high and wide, and almost 40(1m) inches long. i would like to make an aquatic area of about 12 inches(30cm) by 20(50m) and a minimum of 8 inches(20cm) deep.
in this part i would like to put water plants, specifically water hyacinth (for the fish i will put in) this type of plant needs a lot of light, and this is where i need your help, the experts in led lights. what do you recommend? should i buy a very big light that covers the whole area equally? or should i also buy one specifically for the mini pond? what lights do you recommend (if you could tell me the specific name it would be great as i am going to buy everything online). in general if you have any advice or anything else it would be great, you know how big it is and you can tell me your own ideas. soon i will make an account on tiktok where i will show the whole process.
How many kale seeds did you put in your seed cell?
I started my kale seeds yesterday after the new moon but I put like 6-7!
Was that too much??
I usually put 3 to 4 seeds per each cell but you just end up thinning each cell down to one plant so it’s no biggie if you put a few extra in. 👍
