The way she delivered her answers made me want to study for like 4-8 years more. I'm about to graduate soon
but I feel like I'll still be needing adequate lessons to further enhance my communication skills :(
Ify hays
- Dong Abay, UP Alumnus
Tonichi-Kun i think when you ask in english dapat siyempre english din ang sagot
Tonichi-Kun
SOBRANG TRUE PO HAHAHAHA
😂😂😂
Ayun, malimali English grammar.
I really love her speaking voice. Regardless of the Title, the story helped.
...and she's pretty too! Beauty and brains!
blessed are this graduates who really spent 100 % of their efforts for their studies congratulations to all graduates.
Impressive young lady. I can sense the idealism and a good balance of skepticism. =) I hope she sticks to her profession. =)
Tips starts at 18:32
Thank you.
I like all her answers. So intellectual. :) Padayon!!!
She gives a "Lisa Manoban" vibes. Anyways, I love how eloquent she is!
Comparing an intelligent person to an idol is a stretch. An insult even.
@@jonelsabit1933 I am pertaining to her face and the way she speaks. How on earth did you think that pointing out their “similarities” equate to “comparing” them. Straighten your way of reading the context.
I am currently on top of our STEM curriculum in junior HS, my strengths are sci, math and HISTORY (myluvs😍). And I am already torn between choosing HUMSS or staying in STEM. They say I should go opt for STEM, and be a doctor because it's more practical. But I know deep down, that my heart belongs political science and history.
Chiqui, made me realize that choosing your passion instead of practicality is one of the best decisions that you could make for urself. I couldn't promise that my finalized strand would be HUMSS, but I'll always take Chiqui's lesson in mind💞
Follow your passion :)
Do what makes you happy and fulfilled. Humss student here😊
Hey, what did you choose? I'm also torn between these two for the same reason.
@@IwriteIread omgesh this is such an old comment hahaha. I chose STEM! Sometime after this I began to focus on Sci & Math and I have grown to love them! My family is also more supportive of me going into STEM so that strengthened my decision. Though I still am into learning about history and political issues nowadays I treat them as a hobbies. I still can't say for sure if I'll go into med, I think whatever you choose there'll still be doubts but just trust in the process and in the decision that u make.
P.S. Make an effort in evaluating if you'll actually enjoy going into the sciences or humanities. If u have tried ur best and still not feel any affinity with STEM or ur still very passionate about HUMSS then go for it! If you choose the strand that u don't enjoy and forced to study hard lessons then it's going to be a torment.
@@donnatmakemecrypls Same here, I only decided on the STEM strand a few days ago haha. Mama mentioned that the STEM strand would benefit me in math and science, as well as in the entrance exam.
The interview is so painful to watch mainly because the interviewer was awkward and it feels like the interviewee is trying to make it comfortable but the host sticks to being awkward.
THE 👏 TITLE 👏 IS 👏 CORRECT! 👏
It does not pertain to the whole UP system nor history. The title writes UP History's not UP's history.
I hope she will use her knowledge for the betterment of the Philippine history.
Wow. Kayo kaya Nasa lugar nya...
Korek masyadong perfectionist masyado yung iba, for me okay naman yung interviewer.
Binasa ko yung ibang comments. Be warned, andaming negative. Nakakastress mga online trolls.
Yung iba nalito pa sa title hahahha 😂 what the frick?! Haysst.....
This is so inspiring. I relate to all her answers so much, I hope I can relate to being this intelligent too!
compelling conversation !
It doesn't matter what honor you will get after graduation. What matters most is that how will you apply the knowledge in real workplace. Because there are some UP graduates who are intelligent but have attitude problems in terms choosing a job. I'd rather be an average person than to be an intelligent person who helped low class persons in the society
Lo and behold 1:24 used to present a new scene, situation, or turn of events, often with the suggestion that, though surprising, it could in fact have been predicted.
Shes really smart
beauty and brain. she has it both. kaengget.. haha
imkii kpopfan don't think like that. We'll be that someday
Eloquent and spontaneous.
She should replace the interviewer/reporter. The interviewer is so self conscious and awkward. She keeps looking at the ceiling its annoying. Too many facial expressions. And so structured with her guide questions. The interviewee is more confident and mature in this interview.
ZenTee agree ako dito. You cant just be smart and fluent in english para maging host. She can work nalang off camera.
Ang dami mong arte.
Jennie Forteza uhm!! actually not really. 💁
totally agree
she couldn’t even make an aye contact
The young interviewer is somewhat starstruck and in awe of her interviewee.. 😉
The interview was informative. :)
I hope she will uphold the history of martial law and the Marcoses. #neverforget
BEAUTY AND BRAAAAAIIIIINNNNNNN!!!
She is my dream girl 🥰😍.
Rappler anu?
Camille C. Yazzzzz sameee
click bait !
Nasa title po
Ganon ba? :)
It's clearly written in the title, Rappler is not at fault if you didn't understand it. Step up your comprehension game.
Kind regards,
UP Dilliman Alumni here
this girl is soooo attractive, I can’t even!
Also, I feel sorry for the interviewer. She seems really novice.
I love history because for me it's easy but not my major in college because here in the US, you can't find a job unless you become a teacher or a historian.
lita S Most of the students who major in history in the US end up being indoctrinated in socialism. Very sad, indeed. Another thing, they rack up so much debt for a degree that is virtually useless in the present workforce. Getting a job in the academe is like climbing Mt. Everest, not for everybody and only for the chosen few.
Not specific ung tittle. It's kind a misleading
rappler ba naman eh sa fakenews no.1 yan
tama, akala ko in the history of UP
MJY 19 san mahirap or misleading? Mahina ka lang umintindi, niliteral mo lang
smiley Farm It is actually misleading. They need to write accurate captions
Yup I totally agree. I thought that it was the whole UP System this video is pertaining to but it was actually not. So i think that misleading talaga yung title.
She really sounds an intelligent person. No comment to the interviewer
job well done Miss interviewee...its a good effort what is important ay un content not the gestures of the interviewee ...
Medyo may kahawig niya si Lisa🤔
i just hope she can use her intelligence and capacity to help the govt and the phil to be a better country 😍 . i love this interview of her ...keep it up!truly an inspiration if u will not be part of the NPA.😂
Social sciences, physical sciences and mathematics are my inclinations at the same time they are my habits...Anyhow congratulations girl
Lalisa?!
Seo 094 gurl sameee kamukha nya
Reason why I clicked the video. 😂
That's what I thought too. Hahah lisa
IKR parang pre debut lisaaaa
Congrats poh I actually idolize that kind of person and knowing that she is the only female or the first female your so lucky ate😂😇
Re-evaluaate my priorities and trim down my commitments based on what i want to achieve
so pretty❤️❤️❤️
she is beautiful and cute!
wow! from Taal, Batangas, yes, you might be related to Teodoro Agoncillo and Marcela Agoncillo.
I liked it especially when she said something about the truth. If not the truth, then we're not talking about history but fiction.
did she speak tagalog once ? ?
Hey @rappler wasn't Ms. Tiffany Uy the first to do it? Correct me if I'm wrong.😯😯
In "history" course
👑
She's beautiful 😍😍😍😍😍
Amie Anderson Her course is History
UP history period, in UP history course tapos period haha
Try ancestral DNA. The UYs are from Cebu, dang b
Bantayan., that was in 1942.
I'm just curious how old is she? Thanks for answering me 😊
Not surprised that Rappler would have a misleading headline. Not to take away from the graduate’s accomplishments but in Medicine we had 4 Summas in our class, 2 of whom were females.
“Up history’s first” sa history department sir.
Si kristine bersola ng UP fighting maroon volleyball player middle blocker she is also summa cumlaude din
Ka ano ano niya si teodoro agoncillo?
Ang cute nya bagay kami
She sounds like kylie versoza
I also noticed that haha.
UP students all sound the same! Coño po mga accent nila.
I think she's not the first, Darlene Berberabe former Pagibig CEO is a female and summa cumlaude of Bachelor of Arts in Philisophy in UP.
YES UP HISTORY DEPARTMENT lang po yung kanilang binasehan
Boy Drop out I see yong title kasi di specific
Mac Quir.
Mac Quir specific kaya. Basahin mo ulit. Walang philosophy na nakalagay.
makinig ka ulit. sabi niya from her college department nga eh
Misleading title!
Idol kita miss simple lang pero matindi
1 dislike for Rappler's misleading title 😁 peace yow! ✌️
Huh? Was it misleading? It was pretty specific though....
The interviewee gives me lalisa vibes?
So what naman if she is the first female sc in history course?? Its as if it is still a shock when women achieve what a man can. Stories like these are over rated. Bakit walang interviews yung male sc's
First female ba xa na mag summa alam q meron na before yung tiffany ba yun?corrext me if im wrong.
From history dept
Why she (reporter) keep on blinking her eyes, she's not confident on delivering her piece.
Brent Brent probably she felt intimidated by her xD
Some people: The title was misleading!
Me: 13:54
ITSmeSHUJI yeah well not all of us want t wait 14 minutes before the title is fulfilled
@@nicholasbridgemohan ey
Your caption is so misleading.
How though?
Teodoro Agoncillo's Republikang Basahann~~~
impressive! thank God this is not fake news coz its from rappfake.
SHE LOOKS LIKE LISA MANOBAAAAN AAA
omayghad hahahaha
Title is misleading!
Hindi ba dpat si tiffany uy?
Stopped at 6:45
She looks like Lalisa Manoban in some angles.
I agree haha
WHERE ARE THE TIPS????????? VERY MISLEADING.
Kaya paba ng interviewer? 😂😇
Grabe, comm grad pala sa UPD ung interviewer? 😁
Uhmm...
You know...
Like...
Lisa blackpink
Kaloka . , how about Tiffany?
Sa UP History na kurso nya s'ya ang 1st woman to be sc... clear naman sinabi, not entire UP batch or including other courses...yes meron na ring women sc fr other batches and courses
Ikaw yun. Wag mong itulad sayo.
Don't take it literally kasi. Oh and just so you know, it's millenials by the way. Adios, xiao.
Formal interview, not a talk show.
I feel you
04:22
Matalino na.
Mgnda pa..
Napakamisleading ng title. It should have been UP Department of History’s first Summa. Ano na Rappler?
like they always do 😂
Shes too young and too conscious to be sporting that color.
ZenTee 😂😂 why so perfectionist?
ljoy Manabat that happens when you mature inday. you know what's bagay to a person or not. you would not understand it yet. you are at that experimenting stage. wild and free. keep on experimenting
What the heck? Kahit color ng lipstick issue na ngayon? If she wants to wear bright pink, let her. If she wants it dark, let her. Kung doon siya masaya, edi go lang.
Giresh Giresh Lipstick matching your skin tone or your personality or age is always valid. Who can force her not to wear whatever color lipstick? No one! she can look like a clown or wear a Ronald Mc Donald lipstick color anytime she wants. People can only teach not force. Either you get it ir not. Either may sense of taste ka or baduy ka talaga.
She looks like Lalisa Manoban!🙈😍
Lalisa Manoban? Hahaha jk
Prince Limario omg medyo
Same tayo ng nakita😂
The interviewer is so awkward and painful to watch. Might as well replaced her with someone who is more confident. .
Si Tiffany Ut
I thought she was Lisa from Blackpink at first😂
Pati mga commentor napapa English haha nangangamoy isda tuloy
No english language. Please speak tagalog.
Not true. Filipinos understand English. They’re not dumb like hispanics.
Excel in school but how about work?
Cyrus John Arnaiz how can you say that? You don't know her personally.
Cyrus John Arnaiz she just graduated. give her time
She graduated 3 years ago. She hopped around jobs: naging intern kay Bam and Leni. Nagwork for Cropital. Nagmaster's abroad on a scholarship. It's a worthless course.
@@alfredhitchcock45 lol di siya nagsisi, narealize nya sa international development pala siya since she worked sa mga NGO's. Watch the whole video. gosh
the interviewer's teeth makes me annoyed while watching ahhaha. sorry for mentioning that hahaha
mas matalino si tiffany uy
it's important for a reporter to have at least a nice teeth😂 it's dstracting
James Arellano true, her lipstick color even makes matters worse. It's too bright, it draws viewers attention to her tiny mouth and gap in her teeth.
Micaela fudulig is also summa cumlaude
i know my teeth is not pretty but i got bothered by the interviewers teeth
judgemental allert😅
Yeah me too. Parang bungi
