That Phil's Philly has legit been there 25 years, they took over that spot when Orange Julius left. I used to play the massive tilt arcade with the pirate ship underground in the food court
North East Mall was THE hangout spot for teenagers in the 90s! I always had to drop by Spencer's Gifts for a laugh, then hit the food court for a treat. 😋
I love this mall, even if it has changed over the years. I hated it when Nordstrom closed. Still, there are plenty of stores here that I like. You can see my favorite store (WHBM) on the left at 1:21! I have tons of happy memories shopping there, and it was this very location where I first fell in love with the brand. Their clothes are gorgeous.
I lived in NRH for several years. This was my mall. Covid took it's toll. Not only have anchor stores closed down but the stores I like inside are leaving too.

The arcade was under the food court and named Tilt. I remember the pirate ship characters moving and playing loud, obnoxious music.

Yep. Graduated from LD Bell High School in 1998 and spent a lot of time hanging out with friends there. Loved the candy store Gumballs.
