A 12 and/or 8 car class 700 could come to Airlink, as they do airport routes on Thameslink. The coaches on 700s are very short in comparison with other trains, so a 12 car 700 could fit certain stations.

I would actually want a 700/1 on Connect, and the 717 be moved to Airlink. The 717 does not fit Connect in my opinion, as it is a rather slow train.
