I have not seen this in years. I've always thought Peterson was cute, and find it a bit humorous that he plays a "dumb as a tossed salad" charactor.. or that's how I remember it. There's a scene where he says something ludicrous. Someone insults him and he doesn't realize it.

the problem. with joel Schumacher is his movies are like reading through a fashion magazine all style and no substance this movie on the other hand could was great except for the hallmark card thomas Kincaid setting I actually injoyd it. for some reason I think ted Danson miscast I've never really seen him as leading man material for the big screen anyway everyone else was great tho
I think micheal keaton would have been better in ted Danson's role he's always been good in little films like these check out one good cop or Gung ho to see what I mean
