What he said about Daniel Caesar was 110% accurate. The kid is incredible and I can't wait til he gets his proper acknowledgement and acclaim

This dude talks well. He's such a good talker. Seems like he has a lot of insight and wisdom, and all around interesting guy.

Suburb was great, nothing to do. Smoke weed, skip class, home invasions.
"Guys like me, from where i'm from, that i identify with thats all we can do"
Well you could just pick up a book, get a degree. So you can set up a better future for yourself and the next generation. Toronto has a great educational system.
    "Bitches in my bedroom
    Bitches in the lobby
    Bitches in my bed too
    Bodies top of bodies"
    versus 1970s soul music
    "Now tell me
Is that anyway for a man to carry on
Do you think that I want my loved one gone
I love you... more than you'll ever know"
    Lets get #blackempowerment again

Being from the Canadian suburbs, there's not much to do for fun. Toronto is basically where all the shit happens. I'm sure plenty of folks still go to school and get jobs. You'll still see kids who don't give a fuck, but there's definitely been a paradigm shift towards academia. Even my dumbest friends aren't THAT dumb. I think it has to do with immigration. Since I'm pretty sure most ghetto kids are the children of either Asian or West Indian, their parents put a lot of emphasis on hustling. Jamaicans CAN be lazy like people on the west coast who chill and smoke weed all day, but they also have the biggest hustlers. Sean Leon was probably from a different generation. I can only tell you how it's been for the last 10 years.
