1️⃣ Christianity’s Unique Claim → Jesus is the only path to salvation, which means either aliens don’t exist-or they don’t need saving. (Problematic if aliens exist!)
2️⃣ Alien Messiahs → Each civilization has its own version of Christ, meaning Jesus isn’t unique. (Contradicts Christian doctrine!)
3️⃣ Non-Fallen Alien Beings → Some argue extraterrestrials might be morally perfect and don’t need salvation. (But is this even logical?)
4️⃣ Jesus as a Universal Logos → Christ is bigger than just one historical person-he manifests in different forms across the cosmos. (A mind-blowing possibility!)

I think I have a similar "belief system" to you. I am slightly influenced by Platonism and Neoplatonism - which lines up with that "million masks of God" idea.

There whole system is full of holes. 2000 years of theology is just to try to talk themselves out of their own bedtime story book...

The book was written by many different people with different goals, in that respect I'm certain that there are aspects of it that are wrong or backward.... But I see no reason to judge a religion based on bad writing in some of the texts. I just cherry pick and make up my own reality like everyone else on earth 😊
My pentecostal family would lose their absolute MINDS at the sacrilege you just spewed, but personally (as a pagan interested in becoming a Druid under the OBOD in the near future) I'm a pluralist. I like the concept of Jellyfish Jesus™️, but i like the Hindu-like avatar explanation more, and my personal belief (being a primarily Celtic pagan) is that no one gets it quite right, we get as close as we can and aggregate knowlege of the spiritual over many lifetimes. Sometimes we're closer to the "truth"- if that even exists- and some lifetimes are for wandering. I just strive to live the most conscientious life i can and hope others do the same. But yeah, having been raised an Evangelical Christian in a rural area of the US, what you said in this video would raise hairs in SO many people I've known. Keep up the good work. And as far as what kind of content? I think the content is most interesting when someone is genuinely interested in it or passionate about it, so whether its folklore or deep theological questions im here either way!

I used to think about this a lot as a child, and the idea that the bible would be created in a manner unique to extraterrestrial life in order for the message of christ to reach out to all life. Now imagine a crucified alien. I drew that in school as a young child and boy my parents and teachers did not understand my art.

I am a Christian in the U.S. (where the Orthodox, right wing Christians are attempting a coup on our Government.) I agree option 4. I was raised in a very liberal Episcopalian church. I quit going around age 11/12. I began to question as many teens do. I believe that all deity’s are God. I think that Christ was a real person .I believe that in my culture this is how we understand the creator the universal energy of nature, goodness, love, compassion.I also believe this same tenant for all religions( not cults like LDS or org. That are modern creations specifically to get $ and manipulate people for that purpose and power only)religions ie. wicans, Buddhism, Judaism, Hinduism, Native, Mythical &Ancient Gods, and Goddesses. I believe all are legit and believe there is a higher power that reveals itself to peoples in different times, cultures. I think that all religions / Gods are one seen through cultural and personal lenses.A creator that has created the universe and all that has and will ever be. A “God“ that instilled in us all we need and the free will to act as we choose and suffer the consequences of those choices earthly and beyond.Sadly, part of that free will is the ethnocentric, sexist, racist manipulation of God. As an orthodox vajrayana buddhist 😂… I view Jesus as a very important bodhisattva! The three wise men (who came from the east!) were monks looking for the reincarnation of their teacher… To me that is the most plausible narrative. And Jesus was a really cool Yogi with his powers. I heard stories about his youth from the gospel of Thomas … they sound a lot like the stories from Marpa‘s youth ( the guy who brought buddhist teachings from India to Tibet … for the second time )… ❤🌈

It's incredible how isolated we actually are in the universe. We would likely be able to make it to some of the closest planets to our system, but even they are several light years away. It would probably take centuries to get to them, and at such velocities required to get there in shorter times, a ship could be obliterated by a single piece of space debris. Andromeda is 2.5 million light years away. Humanity will never behold it up close. Any possible transmission we see from a civilization in its tendrils will be 2.5 million years old. We will be gone before our response ever reaches them. It's fascinating to think most of the things in this universe, no matter how grand and beautiful they are, will never influence our species. They are simply too far away. This was a cool video, it just brought me back to this thing I think about sometimes.
In school when first hearing about Yeshua rising 3 days after death, I announced he was an extra terrestrial who was being beamed back up to the mothership! He certainly sounds like he is from another planet.

I come from a line of Presbyterian theologians (not orthodox, but theologians nonetheless), and as I've gotten older I've definitely gone more towards the astrological/mythological perspective.
If I had to explain it myself, I'd say Jesus was the messiah sent to us for the Piscean age. Only thing is, only Earth has a Piscean age, because only Earth has our zodiac. Soon we will have an Aquarian messiah, or at least something that will send Earth's consciousness on a new collective path.
If there are more planets with life on them, I think their religions and mythos would be directed by their own form of zodiac. The fun question is whether it would have anything in common with ours 🤷♀️

This would DEFINITELY be a question that I would have asked as a kid in Sunday school! I would ask similar q’s along the lines of “Who is God? Why was he Created? And why God have to be a He? Why does God have to capitalized and be gendered as a male? (I still wonder this question to this day, honestly)”
I would also ask questions about if other civilizations existed in the (Catholic) Bible as well. I, of course being a child, had no idea that there were other versions of the Bible until around middle school, maybe (That’s the American Education System for ya’ll!) This is partly why I absolutely love world mythology. I was listening to how Egyptian society and mythology was created and I just kept thinking, “I would’ve loved Egyptian mythology as a kid!” (And Irish mythology and folklore as well!)

I am Christian, i paused when you asked the question... My answer is YES. Logically anything that isn't from earth is alien. To us, from our perspective GOD is as strange and alien as you can get, and Christ was a hybrid between that otherworldly.... well, i would argue god is extra dimensional really, so a cross between a extra dimensional being and a human. Or he was the result of something playing with the programing of our reality. A higher dimension being that made our universe in a simulation would be able to play with it and manipulate it in any way they see fit... And indeed end it all with a simple gesture... GOD. Came back to edit... I had a thought 🤔, that is if Jesus was born here he IS from earth so therefore is he alien? Perhaps the fact he was born on earth makes him a natural citizen of earth? Edited to add again... you main there are people who think GOD is all good!? They thing that killed people in the tens of thousands at a time in the old testament, that caused famine and death. No, good and evil are a grey zone... That grey zone is GOD. When Jesus was tempted in the garden as he prayed it wasn't Satan that spoke to him ... It was his own inner thoughts, he didn't let them winbut they were there none the less. We were created in God's image, therefore his will to do good and bad are inside us, and we must overcome the bad just as GOD. Good and bad simply exist, Satan is a construct of the bad not an actual real thing. Our reward for being good and following the good path is worship of GOD forever at his feet... We are owned by God and were created for that simple purpose, to worship God.... No big reunion with family and friends just simple worship of the Creator forever and ever, and there is nothing else.

Multiplicity seems to be the trend in this realm and I’d believe in renegade healing hunchbacks from outer space before believing a Holy Roman Emperor.
I'm not sure what number this is, but I suspect that sapient alien species all have their own thing...or not, as the case may be. If any of them were to come to earth, they likely would end up converting some of us to their beliefs, or some of them might become Christians, Jews, Buddhists, whatever. In any case, it's an interesting topic...while largely agnostic myself, it's something I've thought about in the past.

For me Christ(as the spirit/deity) is Dionysos, Kernunnos, Odin, Shiva, Ruohtta and Enkidu. I don't believe in Jesus as the man that many call "the Son of God" but I do believe in and worship (the Gnostic)Christ but under name of "Vådan".

I'm not a Christian but I think Non-fallen aliens could actually be logical - Original Sin was caused by Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden (which was on Earth), and only affects their descendants - who are all human. Unless the aliens are evolved from humans, they're going to be unaffected. It doesn't necessarily mean that aliens are morally perfect though, they could still commit other sins, just not Original Sin. And it's only Original Sin that can't be redeemed by any means except through Jesus. However, this all assumes that the whole Adam and Eve/Garden of Eden story makes any kind of logical sense in the first place - which it doesn't, really.
One of your other suggestions, that of Jesus being a Universal Logos, is a prominent theory in Gnostic scripture, and this is my favourite option.
Here's another possibility - aliens were created by different Gods in different worlds, and they have no interest or need to find ours. The Bible's creation story says nothing about the creation of other planets and other life-forms on those planets, it only talks about Earth And not even the whole Earth, just a small portion of it.
This was a lot of fun, I'm always up for a bit of Christian (or Gnostic) mythology.

Not so sure about this one. Have you considered Aquinas, or Steiner or Owen Barfield in this? Literalism is always a snare, because what we are considering is faith, not knowledge as generally understood, Lewis thought of Christ (not 'Jesus') as a kind of end result of all Myth, and although this can sound a bit trite, I think I know what he was getting at. Ultimately, we may well be alone, in cosmological terms, and for all practical purposes we are, despite recent revelations about visitations from 'other worlds'/ or dimensions. The test is, for each person to open themselves to the Christ consciousness, and see what happens maybe??

The very old paintings of Christ look like two halves, as if they were trying to convey the idea of his duality. I know scholars posit that it represents the fact that he was fully God and fully human but I see something else. I think the elementals or gentry, other folks, whatever we call them were spiritual beings along with us who became human, there was a falling out between God's and Satan's, they ended up where they are, we ended up where we are, and Jesus was the reconciler, or Messiah between the two. I think he was half human and half fairie. The ancient alien folks think he was half alien and half human, which would make sense, if the essences were messing around trying to hybrid humans and aliens, and Elizabeth "magically" had a successful pregnancy at her age, and John was considered somewhat divine, then Mary goes to stay with them and end up pregnant with a very special child..? I'm not sure where you get your ideas about "orthodox" Christianity, but they are not in keeping with traditional Christian teachings in the Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, or Oriental Orthodox churches. Protestants are too diverse to make many general statements about them, of course, but as far as historical Christianity goes, this is a strawman. The concept that only Christians go to heaven has been condemned as heresy. Orthodox Christianity absolutely does not say that only Christians can go to heaven. That's simply not true.
So not Eastern Orthodoxy, just traditional lowercase orthodox Christianity. Which historically is generally exclusivist. Although there are many other varieties you’re right.

This idea of exclusivity is explicitly condemned as heretical by the Catholic Church and is contrary to the explicit teachings of the Eastern Orthodox and Oriental Orthodox Churches. The Cappadocian fathers, in fact, were very close to teaching universal salvation. I'm very sure that what you're getting at is the old expression "Extra Ecclesiam nulla salus" (outside the church, there is no salvation), but you are not looking at how this has been traditionally interpreted, nor how John 14:6 has been traditionally understood. In both cases, the Christ and his church are traditionally understood to be the instruments of salvation, but not that being a member of the church is a requirement to get into heaven. While I've no doubt that there are Christians who have misunderstood this throughout time, the idea that you're calling the orthodox position is, in fact, a heterodox position historically, and continues to be considered such by the oldest Christian churches.
