Simon Lister grew up on a New Zealand farm, heavily influenced by a father who loved music, motorbike and photography. All three elements have inspired him since, in his roles as the owner of Nylon Studios and a renowned photographer who travels the likes of India and Bolivia by motorbike, documenting the hope and hardship he finds on the way.
His passion has taken him to the most remote corners of the globe and he has witnessed firsthand the perseverance of the human spirit.
Through the lens, he manages to capture the heartbreak and unexpected joys of childhood in poverty.
