Love fried plantains..tried a million times to make them..always come out hard n too dark! Kept the flame med..buy the blackest sweetest plantains...done everything right..but I never get it!! Finally i boiled them then sliced n fried them..omg...perfect just like at the restaurant! Will try ur method..urs look truly yummy!🌺🌺

Hi does it make a big difference if you buy at the store a ripe one compared to ripening it your self?
I haven’t found that it does! I like when they’re already ripe or semi-ripe at the store. Less waiting around for them to ripen. 🥹
