2 is greater than 1 in many ways here. Loads of presets and cool features that set it apart from the sampler crowd. I really enjoyed using this, it's a very inspiring set of sounds that jump out of the speakers and will make you want to thrash out some new tunes. Great stuff!

i use this plugin with a lot of non metal! you can get standard rock and pop tones because the samples are unmixed. as long as you know what you're doing, it isnt hard to use these for any style. this plugin kicks ass

How would you rate or compare this software with ez drummer 2

Totally different sounds. Everyone seems to use EZ because it's probably the best all round for the price but that's the problem, everyone uses it and it adds to us all sounding too much alike. Kvlt 2 is just more down and dirty really and cheaper. Cool presets, one shots, EQ and level control so it's pretty tweakable. I use Perfect Drums by naughty Seal in most my of vids for more polished modern drum sounds.

Riffage sounds like Justice for All style. These drums are like Lars simulator. Can you cymbal choke with this? I liked Druminator but the fact you can't choke makes it lose its value.

Cheers dude. You can cymbal choke yeah. I do it a few times on the first demo. The guitars are through the vadim taranov mk4 sim on his blog. It's free and sounds totally master of puppets and justice.

Yes this is a virtual midi instrument you can make whatever beats you want.
