🤗'Traveling with Kristin'
and I would love it if you would bad-mouth SE Asia and promote the western hemisphere so nobody else comes here..... ; ) @@helena20000
I went there twice last year 2024. I was inspired by your first presentation about Portugal which I listened to during the pandemic lockdown. Thank you, Kristin.
I love Portugal and the people ❤ 😊
It’s a wonderful country!
I would sign up for this trip just to get a date with Kristin!!!
I am really looking forward to this trip! It is going to be quite a fun time! I really like all the activities you have planned for it - I think it should be great!
Me too, Scott! So glad you can make it 😊
Wow. What an opportunity for anyone who is thinking of moving to or spending a season in Portugal. Having a well respected and knowledgeable world traveller as a guide is an incredible opportunity.
Well worth the price not just for the worry free aspect but also to see if the “nomad or ex-pat life” is for you. 🤯
I need to change my holiday plans.
Thanks Dinsdale, we’d be happy to have you!
Between Lisbon and Algarve you can't miss Cabo Sardão and the trails around it.
Also the "Bryce-like" cliffs of Melides (Arribas Fósseis Fontainhas).
Kristen, i enjoy watching your video clips and their contents are excellent and well presented. I wish you good luck and success !
Bless you !
Thank You !
Thank you so much!
Good luck with this... I'm tempted
That would be an amazing trip! Going to Italy during Christmas or would definitely consider this AUsome trip with you and your Mom.🛬😎💖
Thank you so much for the enthusiasm, Pat! 😊
I'm glad you're starting to do trips, what better person to do them! I voted for many places, Portugal included I'm sure (there's very few places I didn't vote for, lol). I've been to Lisbon for several days, but I'm sure there are many places to go there that I never even came close to seeing. I've never been to The Algarve, though (we went to Porto for our "second city" of the trip). I've also considered moving to Portugal as it is a very popular country for Americans and other countries to move to.
My only concern at this point is that I am doing practically back to back cruises in January and February with my other meetup groups and I really need to spread out my travels and would probably not go on another trip until next fall again (I just went to northern Spain and Andorra this past September). Hopefully you will keep having these trips and I will be able to go on one in the fall or as soon as possible otherwise!
Hi David, thanks for the message! Sounds like you have a lot of exciting travel coming up. My goal is to do more trips like this to other destinations in the future. Stay tuned!
Hi Kristin..Portugal is of course one of my favourite places i would love to explore someday. And if it's with you, it would be so exciting no doubt. This time i've some commitments, so i'll make sure next time a trip with you as my host. I'm looking forward to it.😊
Totally understand about commitments this time, but I'll be here when you're ready for the next trip. Looking forward to it! 🌍🤝
8-24 people seems like quite a large size range, logistics & accommodations-wise. The intimacy factor would seem to diminish rapidly as the number of participants rises. I'd think you would want to keep the number towards the smaller end of that range for your first tour.
This is such a great deal! I am so sad I can't take this one. My sister and I have tickets for the Indy 500 and it's just too close to the race time. I want to travel with you more than anyone...I am so set on buying a spot in The Big P, so please keep doing the trips...and please have fun! We will meet again...I'm so sure! Much love, Rich
Rich, I totally understand. I appreciate your support and enthusiasm. I'm looking forward to meeting again for sure! Much love and have a fantastic day! 😊
I’m gonna have to say the price. If you break that down for the amount of days, it’s $457 a day. When you look at it that way, it’s kinda of alot. You still gotta get a flight to get there, that’s gonna bring it over $600 per day.
Está valer assim tanto a pena visitar Portugal?
Im headed to Ireland then🫤. Totally would of loved going.
Living in Neston U.K. From Destin Fl, only have been here since Sept 23rd. The culture shock is real. No friends yet…
That's funny, I'm looking at spending jan and feb in Destin, well, FT Walton area. Either there, or Myrtle Beach. Would be my first stop to either.
It's completely normal to feel a bit of culture shock, Shari, especially when you've recently moved. I hope you find your community and make friends soon. 😊🌍
LOL funny can It be that you recorded that video in Amsterdam? I recognize the enterior 🙂
Yes! At Zoku 😊
@@TravelingwithKristin Yes I know ;-)
Hey Kristin, can you cruise me to a Cigar bar in Portugal during this trip? I'll buy for the group if it's dope.

I have lived all over the US, in Cusco, Coronado Bay Panama, Penang Malaysia, Phuket, Koh Samui, Da Nang, and now Jomtien beach in Pattaya....I know you have traveled everywhere; please tell me that SE Asia is the most cost efficient, tropical island and beach paradise, world's best cuisine along with Indian and all other Asian foods and seafood....easiest place to live, one of the easiest place to get a visa.....when Thailand opened for tourist last May, I was on a plane that landed after midnight, and arrived in my Jomtien hotel at 3 am.....I now rent a huge beautiful furnished sea view condo with massive balcony where I have access to anything and everything I could ever want or need.....nowhere I have been compares to SE Asia, especially if you love the beach communities instead of big city horrors such as Bangkok...... ; )
Wow, you've had an incredible journey living in so many places! 😊 It sounds like you've found your piece of paradise in SE Asia. Enjoy your time in that beautiful sea-view condo, and here's to more amazing adventures in this tropical haven! 🌴🌊😄
I love traveling the world so much its the best high in the world all my videos are travel videos, hopefully one day I can move from the US to some beautifully tropical overseas country
That sounds like an incredible adventure,
@DSMan80! 🌍✈️ The joy of travel is indeed a unique high. Best of luck with your travel videos, and I hope your dream of moving to a tropical paradise becomes a reality! 🌴😊
💪🏻🍻👏
Cheers to that! 💪🍻👏
Hi Kristin, I love your channel! Thanks. I've been to lisbon and the algarve. Both are amazing. Do you have any connections with people that can assist me with getting a D7 visa? I'm retiring soon, and want to make portugal my home. Thanks in advance,
Kelly Buck
Hi Kelly, I talked about this topic in this podcast I did with how to get the D7 visa, they shared how to get the D7 visa and they have a service on it. Also, Bordr helps people get their Portuguese tax IDs, file taxes, open Portuguese bank accounts remotely, and more. Talked to them here: www.badassdigitalnomads.com/moving-from-the-usa-to-portugal-highs-lows-and-tips-on-settling-in/ Hope this helps!
Open to everyone? We have mobility issues wheelchair bound
Hi Russell, there are some excursions that could be difficult but I’ll inquire with the tour operator
