Vikings can't live in this harsh environment, Inuit came and saw this paradise with lots of animals to hunt. Inuit drive where Vikings eat themselves to survive. Inuit saga told Vikings went war with Inuit where they can't survive(they can't hunt) and can't win against superior cold climate people. Vikings erased from the this land and even their history destroyed, their remaining bodies burned and thrown into sea(to animals to consume). Vikings can't win against superior winter people in north.

@@roadsign69 Its always cold. Even when its "warm" its freaking cold. The daily mean in Nuuk in the hottest month is 7C. In central Europe its like 20 for comparison. Its freaking cold.

Спасибо большое за прекрасное видео о Гренландии в формате 4к, так прекрасно сидя дома побывать в разных частях света и видеть как живут другие народы на другом конце земли. Заметил что на видеокадрах нет мусора и так приятно видеть чистоту потому, что радом где я живу, если выйти в лес много мусора. Люди загрязняют землю и не задумываются, что эта красота исчезает. А я восхищаюсь красотой, которая вокруг нас и читаю Библию, чтобы приблизиться к Богу. В Библии написано: «невидимые качества: вечная сила и божественная сущность - ясно видны от сотворения мира, потому что они распознаются через то, что создано» (Римлянам 1:20)
К сожалению переработка мусора есть только в нескольких крупных городах. В деревнях, где население около сотни, мусор который горит сжигают а остальное выбрасывают в море. Но так как мусор относительно новая проблема для Гренландии, будем надеятся что в скором времени будут запущены судна для сбора мусора в деревнях.

The beauty is incredible! but what about the forest, the steppe, how nice it is to go to the forest, to sunbathe among the trees? everything is too harsh with you, it's beautiful, but it's harsh! only mountains and water, mountains and water..and how good it is to go into the forest and pick strawberries there, and then make a picnic and sleep in the shade of trees ..)

It doesn't relax me. It makes my heart beat for some reasons. It feels as if it is telling my soul to "go there. go there. leave and go there." So it puts me into this helpless excitement.
All the COVID, economic depression, my empty wallet make me feel helpless and my heart feel void, but yes. It is a nice dream to keep myself keep moving forward, at least to have a nice dream for a min.
You're soul is calling. I agree with you, these videos just make me want to go there and see more of our beautiful world.
We have the privilege of going there digitally. Or in spirit of our thoughts :)
💐When a person does not have vision or dreams somethimes one Person can feel hé or she is Drying up, Our Father in Heaven gives is the Ability To visionise and to have dreams to persue to build up His Kingdom and With Him everything is possible ,If IT is His Will for youre Life and you Work towards IT Will Happen ,but i always ask Him is it His Will And Than i find confirmation in His Word .Jesus Saves And Hé makes us truly happy but eventualy Hé has a Place for all of us somewhere on This earth that we call home or where someone feels home or needed and loved ,one likes to live in flat lands the other likes mountains the other likes to live by the coast line .God is beautifull and Hé Loves you very much you Will get There where Hé wants you to be .
Wait for a couple of decades, it's gonna be much more habitable. Global warming and all that. Just get there before the big migration starts.

Fantastic Video! I spent a year at Sondrestrom AB, Greenland above the Artic Circle on west coast in 1974 while in the US Air Force. I was one of only a few private pilots on the site at that time so got to fly a small 4 seat airplane all over the area around Sondrestrom. I got se see many similar sites as in this video and it was amazing flying up a Fjord to a glacier and even landing on a gravel bar at the bottom of the Fjord. Saw herds of Musk Ox and thousands of Caribou. I also flew on a Ski equipped Twin Otter to a radar site on the Greenland Ice Cap and at another radar site on the East coast. It was a great adventure but would not like to spend another winter in Greenland.
Wow I can’t imagine what it must of been like to be there back in the 70’s. The caribou and musk ox herds sound incredible. I can imagine the winter was brutal, especially with the lack of sunlight. How cold did it get while you were there?
I saw the temp drop to the end of our gage and it was at -50F. Northern Lights were beautiful. This was before GPS and Internet so we were pretty isolated from the world. I got one phone call home a week using radio bounced off the stratosphere. Spent most of the 10 minutes asking "can you hear me?" Summer was great with temps in +50F and 24 hour daylight. Getting to fly the small aircraft kept me busy because I would take the many non-flyers sight seeing to the Ice pack and to remote Fjords. Our site had about 80 Danish and 35 USAF Americans. Winter was long, cold and dark. @@ScenicRelaxationFilms
