      @Lu Up Korean history, and relationship between China, and not to mention Japan.. its SO interesting. Its kinda like Scandinavian history, with Norway, Denmark and Sweden. Which in this case Norway is most similar to Korea, being the bouncingball between the two countries.

    • @CarolineForest
      @CarolineForest 4 года назад +3

      @Lu Up and if you look at traditional Danish stuff, and Traditional Norwegian... to foreign, unfamiliar eye, they are super similar, but there is a difference. though to us its newer, its not as ancient yet

    • @CarolineForest
      @CarolineForest 4 года назад +2

      @Lu Up yeah, it used to be pretty intense up here too... We just got lucky and it's not like that anymore...
      And as an outsider perspective. S-Korea is in such a unique situation with the whole intensity between neighbours and their North, it's so interesting to see the situation unfold. And hopefully in the future the south and north with become one and the intensity with the neighbours will calm more down. But until then, history is still unfolding.
      I also wanna mention, Korean is my favourite of the three languages, not only does it sound prettier, it also looks more elegant when written down, it's easy to understand eachother and communicate, which is the whole purpose of a language (communication).

      OMG for god's sake please stop spreading this. No sane Korean (including Yoongi himself) would ever claim to be the descendent of royalty when it's from the queen's line. Being married to the king only makes her and her children royalty, not her entire freaking extended family. Besides, there are literally nearly 200,000 Mins in this clan and there are lots of other ancient families who have produced queens and princess consorts throughout history. By this logic nearly one quarter of Korea would be "descendents of royalty"

(especially since there were chinese words at the beginning) I even asked my parents about it and they said it looks exactly like ancient china but they also explained that ancient china and korea looked extremely similar in the past, so yeah. So here suga killed his growing ego or the darkness, showing he want to stay humble n not get consume in his anger, hatred that AgustD harboured and also his growing ego
      This is just my opinion though everyone can have different opinion.

    The word refers to a type of Korean music that is played when the army marches to war. His past self and current self are fighting for dominance. In his last mixtape he says that Min Yoongi (his birth name) was killed off by Suga (his stage name in BTS) but here we have his true self kill off the King and his ruthless dominance.
    I have seen some Army make reference to Suga actually descending from a royal bloodline. Something I didn’t know but hey we are always learning.
    The garment he is wearing is actually the type that was worn by Kings and during the time, anyone who had a scar could never be king or queen. The fact that he has one proves how powerful he is. This guy is a savage 😎🔥

Here Yoongi plays 3 different roles, as the citizen, the rebel and the king. In ancient korea, people with scars cannot be King. But he broke the rule and became king. Also, actually Yoongi in real life is from a royal bloodline. He's a far relative of a Korean empress, and he's also from the Yeoheung Min clan. Even Tae and Jin are from a royal bloodline. They're both from Gwangsan Kim clan. (Ps: Namjoon is also from a Kim clan but he's from Gangneum Kim, which isn't royal, but we all know he's our king😂💜)

    BTS have occasionally used Hanja, for example in 花樣年華 (The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, HwaYangYeonHwa). Also expressing the four parts of the Love Yourself series: Love Yourself 承 Her, Love Yourself 轉 Tear, Love Yourself 結 Answer, Love Yourself 起 Wonder.

    This MV is from a movie about a king ‘ kwanghae’ of Chosun Dynasty. Also, Korean architecture may look similar to Chinese, but coloring and the roof line are very different. For the Chinese characters, Sometimes Korean people use Chinese characters to clarify the meaning of the word, as Korean characters are phonetic, while Chinese characters have clear meaning embedded in them. Daechita is a music played for the procession when a King goes out of the palace.

    The background is korean traditional palace. Palace was built in Shila dynasty which is way before than corea or joseon dynasty. It is filmed in Kyeong Ju city. Though the story of Gwang He ( the mad king with scar face) in lyrics is from Joseon era.

    He said in the lyrics that he has Gwanghae flow (( Gwanghae is king of Joseon dynasty who killed a lot of peoples . And there's a myth that he has been replaced by someone that looks just like him during this reign! )) August D killed the blonde crazy king ( the bad self of him ) so that mean the old himslef didn't change !
    And Daechwita is korean traditional music style , played when the army is marching to war ( to inspire the military ) during the Joseon dynasty

    Just like Europe has similar architecture style but it has different style, Korea,China and Japan have similar roof style but if you look closely it is very different style and different architecture and the background is Chosun Dynasty which was one of Korea’s Dynasty. I understand Korea culture and history was not familiar than China yet to westerners but if you might have some interesting about Korea, you’ll find it is totally different country. However I understand you, because when I was younger I also did not know well about western architecture and culture. :) I hope we can be more close friends each other.
    Anyway I hope this might be helpful to you.

    In Korean dynasties, people with scars could not ascend the throne, whether it be a king or a queen. If the crown prince had a scar, he did not receive the throne, and if the girl had a scar, she could not marry the king and become the queen That is, the presence of a scar implied the impossibility of receiving the throne, but King Yunga has a huge scar on his face in the video, and perhaps this means that despite the “scars” and the unfitness for the throne caused only by society, Yungi could still become king Just as he was able to become the greatest artist contrary to what many have claimed and are still trying to claim that he will not be able to do this True king, true genius, hell 🤝

    it's not china, it's korea, all of it, v traditional, the background instruments, the clothes (except for the car scene), the set. Traditional Korean things are inspired from Chinese traditional things. And the text in the start was traditional hangul which is based off of Chinese characters. The era they're showing in the mv is joseon dynasty era which lasted for 5 centuries, that's why the mv is so traditional.
    And using chinese culture for an mv would have been cultural appropriation cuz daechitwa is korean word meaning a king's rally with loud sounds to tell everybody in the public that the king is out in the public.

They have released music so many times which has traditional Korean instruments and dance moves and props. AND STILL says like 'china'?? Seriously i don't get the logic they say like that. If it's only because of the chinese character from the very beginning, that still can't be an excuse. If south american or south African whatever people use English in their mv, then is it the UK vive? Absolutely no.
