Sure, it's an added cost, but I expect that one of those adapters that allow you to use a cornette mouthpiece on a trumpet would fit. Just a suggestion.

If someone can hit a high C using only the mouthpiece, can they hit a high C using the TruTra? Does the TruTra limit the range of the mouthpiece?
