Scottish Champion Highland dancers compete in Reel of Tulloch during 2023 Ballater Highland Games

The Reel of Tullich Scottish dance adult open competition, held during the 2023 Ballater Highland Games. This was at Ballater in Deeside, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, on Thursday 10th August 2023. The dancers were Brogan Martin, Molly Smith, Mhairi McPherson and Michelle Gordon, all of whom are champion Highland dancers.
The Reel O' Tulloch is said to have started in a local churchyard at Tullich by Ballater on a cold, winter morning, when the minister was late for his service. The parishioners resorted to stamping their feet, clapping their hands, and swinging each other by the arms to keep warm.
