I love pacey and Joey so much because they truly fell in love with each other. Dawson and Joey kept trying to force love into their relationship and that's not how it works. With Pacey and Joey love came naturally and there was nothing they could do to get rid of it.

How could the writers give her sexual abuse, drug abuse, no parental love, witnessing a friend die, grams with cancer, the original 3 leaving her out etc and then throw having a baby for a man who walks out on her then letting her have to die and slowly too? Jen deserved better...🥺😔😭
Ugh they are still iconic. Im glad the writers made the right decision, and truly she shouldn’t have even been torn on the final season, they have always made more sense, been more organic, and had better chemistry.
The actress had that opinion too. She told the writers that joey and pacey were endgame.

Me too. I know everyone talks about Pacey and Joey's relationship, because it was truly epic and was so much fun to watch their love grow and develop. However, people seem to forget that he was also an amazing boyfriend to Andie, he was so understanding and supportive of her. Joey was my favourite character from day one, but I didn't see what an amazing guy Pacey was until he got together with Andie, it showed who he truly was underneath that cocky, glib persona. Ugh, I just love Pacey.
I love Joey and Pacey's relationship. A lot of TV relationships feel rushed, out of nowhere, but theirs happened over a long..long..time 😂 and it felt real. It really helps you connect to the characters in a way you usually can't.
Dawson’s Creek is the goat. When I was a kid, I was on Dawson’s side. Now that I’m an adult, I understand Pacey more. Pacey taught me how to be attentive to women.

Facts. Dawson was that obvious match for Joey. They both were hopeless romantic introverts that grew up together blah blah blah but the older you get you realize Dawson was self righteous and entitled and Pacey was more flawed and relatable. How his family treated him, his tough guy exterior but always a better lover in relationships etc. Dawson was a daydreamer and Pacey actually took action when he was into a girl. More confident. Nonetheless he's still not a true friend for fucking his best friend's ex girlfriend but then again you know that saying 'one mans loss is another mans treasure' the 'loss' is actually 'trash' but I wouldnt refer to Joey as trash.
When the series began , it was never going to be Dawson. He was ALWAYS like her best friend brother like guy. Yes, they had chemistry, and were soulmates. Pacey was her heart AND soul.

The ultimate sweet, caring, honest, loyal, charismatic, funny dreamboat of a boyfriend there ever was. Setting many of us women up for disappointment. 😅 Love me some Pacey. And yes Pacey & Joey are a much better fit for one another.

Pacey took action whenever he was into a girl. Always. Dawson daydreamed like you said and thought love was like the movies but theyre not. He also only wanted Joey when she was with someone but when she was single he wanted her to keep pining for him to fuel his ego.

The way that Dawson kissed Joey, it was cookie cutter, vanilla, boring, plain, bland, unseasoned. Dawson was a little boy who lived in fairy land & physically planed every second of their relationship.. even the "perfect" moment to kiss...as if his life were an actual fairytale. When in reality, those cliché movie scenes don't happen in real life relationships. So when Dawson did kiss someone it was painfully pland out, looked fake, and emotionless.
Pacy on the otherhand lived in the moment, took his time to understand & get to know the women he was with like the back of his hand. And when he knew what he wanted, he put himself into that vulnerable place nomatter if got rejected. Pacy was real bc he wore his heart on his sleeve & put his his emotions into action. So when he did kiss someone it was always very passionate and sincere (like in the video)
Dawson was man of words, Pacey is a man of actions and you know what they say, actions speak louder than words.
Agreed! Joey and Pacey had naturally chemistry where it felt forced between Dawson and Joey. I never honestly understood their romance and thought their bond was more brother & sister than actual boyfriend & girlfriend. Dawson and Joey loved the idea of being together but once they were together it just wasn't right. It was more awkward and complicated where with Pacey Joey seemed much more happy and herself with Pacey. Dawson and Joey knew eachother forever and thought bc if their history as best friend that they were suppose to be together when truthfully they were better off as friends only. There was a scene in the beginning of season 2 when Dawson and Joey were making out in his room and his parents walked in on them and turned off the tv lmao.. omg I cringed so hard. Their kiss was just so awkward and came off so forced. Yeah I prefer Joey and Pacey!

Anyone who's watched the show from beginning to end knows they kiss in season 1, but there kiss in season 3 was more meaningful in my opinion because despite Joey's reaction, she kissed him back, It was a start of their relationship together and it wasn't just a physical attraction for Pacey like in season 1, they truly became friends and their feelings for each other grew deeper. Dawson was never on the same level as Joey and Pacey. Pacey was always the better man and I'm glad they were endgame.
The kiss on season 1, doesn't count, IMO. They were friends, absolutely nothing more than that. But this time... A tension between them had been growing, making it count.

Also, the kiss wasn't based on friendship and nothing more, in the episode Pacey became attracted to Joey and kissed her because of it, HE wanted to to be more than friends, SHE didn't, that doesn't make it any less of a first kiss.
I remember watching this when it first aired when I was about 15. I'd been hoping they would get together for pretty much the whole season and then this scene happened. I was so happy, I'd never been so invested in a fictional relationship and I haven't been since. The chemistry between Katie and Joshua is undeniable and their performances are incredible. I'm glad she chose Pacey in the end, he was a much better fit for Joey romantically. She and Dawson were better off as friends.
But their kiss in the episode where they get locked inside the Kmart was the absolute best 😭😭😭

Joey and Dawson will always be best friends, they were afraid to move on and away from each other but there was no spark in their relationship.. whereas Joey and Pacey were True Love :) .. the way Paceys eyes would light up everytime he was with Joey shows she was the only one for him from the beginning. Pacey was also Joeys first long term boyfriend and she let her heart speak and not her mind. Everytime she was with Dawson it was always complicated and both over analysed everything. I’m glad the show ended the way it did.. just beautiful and sweet for them.

they really took it to another level by bringing pacey and joey together. the first time i can actuallly feel chemistry between two characters, even though i like the rest of the show aswell. they really peaked in the second half of season 3. the slow build up to their first kiss is so good it feels like the whole show is just built around it to happen.

I remember watching this with my guy best friend in high school. We just loved this show. It’s crazy because we ended up dating after high school and even to this day, although we are not together, we still call each other soul mates.

P&J are amazing. What I really liked about this show is that the main character didn't get the girl. This show showed us that just the fact of being BF doesn't mean that they have to be together. Dawson was Joey's first love. Their love was so pure but it was related to their chilhood. Then Joey fell for Pacey and Joey experienced another kind of love. They broke up but still being friends there were always sparks between them. All of them were soulmates: P&J as lovers, Pacey and Dawson and D&J as BF.
Don’t forget Jen and jack, the healthiest and strongest soulmates on the show 😍😍😍

I was being spoiled when I saw “dawson and joey’s wedding” title when I opened youtube but I never opened the video. And when I’m on the last season, actually it makes me shock when it just only a dream 😅 but I’m happy with the ending…. Especially the moment when Pacey once said in the last episode in his kitchen restaurant “the simple act of being in love you is enough for me” its like his love for Joey is so pure, when he always compliments Joey how amazing she is. Goshhh! I’m in love with this series and never get enough of this!

No. This is their first kiss because it was mutual. It didn't matter if they "spent the whole day together" on a school project. Joey FLAT OUT rejected the kiss the second Pacey went in to kiss her. She didn't "catch attraction" to him just because they spent hours together. That was all Pacey and it was one sided. A kiss isn't a "kiss" between two people, if it's one-sided. So *THIS* is their first kiss. Period.

To all of us this was there first kiss. The one in season 1 doesn't really count since she didn't kiss him back because she was the hung up for her feelings for dawson. But it took her time to realize how she really felt about him.
