Yay!!!! Awsome of you to get willow so involved !!!! This may help get my wife out more !!! You two work well together! When your welding the expanded at her feet is a pretty cool shot!!!! Like your "worshipping the goddess of welding " ! Ha ha ha
Hey, sorry to walk in on you yesterday while you were working. Thanks for letting me walk around your vehicle. I put in a call to Martin, and will probably be talking to him next week. I winter in Mexico, and will probably be in the market in the spring when I get back. Thanks again. Cheers
That is pretty cool... keep the tongue long! LOL! I am liking the light weight deck, for sure. Metal prices... well... all prices are out of control right now.
Have you thought of going axel less also may look at kneeling as well easier to load motorcycles snow machines as the trailer goes right down to the ground drive on tie down air up and go . Just thoughts back to the video lol have an awesome day peaceout had to come back and add awesome build so far you both really hustled on this trailer , hope it doesn't take too long for the parts to get in . 👍
Recently broke a leaf spring on my trailer in remote Utah, used a bunch of ratchet straps to stabilize the axle on the broken side, then hauled it 2000 anxiety filled miles home. Now I'm debating its replacement.....go back to leaf springs or something different? It was a 3500 single dexter axle dirt bike hauling trailer. Maybe torsion would last longer than the 60,000 mi I went before the leaf broke? Or just proactively put new leaf springs every 20,000? Good trailer build video!
Torsion axles will outlast any leaf spring/solid combo. They are more stout in every aspect and if you are patient you can find great deals on used ones online....

All good Marc! Sorry we are just pressed for free time lately. I am sure Martin will take good care of you, just be patient....

I agree there is a bit of inflation right now... Good to see you on here again.
Watching your new upload from the airport. Nice skills for both Willow and yourself to build your own trailor.
Keep up the good work and great ideas!
This will be trailer number 2 and a smaller version indeed! Thanks for tuning in!
nice new project .
thanks for the video .
Sincerely Hollandduck from the Netherlands
Thanks for watching!
Love this project just remember innershield or self shielded flux core does run vertical but needs to be run up hill to avoid slag inclusions
Triple pass joints, we don't film everything. Thanks for tuning in....
Great teamwork project!

I have seen those. Their off road clearance is not the greatest. I like the idea but it is a bit much for my skills...
You 2 make a great build team.
Assembly line work is our forte....
Again solid build!
Thank you! We will keep chipping away at it until it is done!

I bought mild steel tubing a few weeks ago- heart attack. The price is more than double now.
I hear you. We still think it is worth it though for something self built and unique that isn't overpriced, cookie cut, and flimsy....
How'd you weld on the new mounts without burning up the rubber inside?
There are several methods. Willow used the very slow method outlined in several RUclips videos of others doing the same thing....
Pretty much unwatchable. Nausea inducing camera motion.
