@@moimoi3681 Lol don’t tell me what I should watch son. The only movies I watched as kid was Asian cinema. Jw isn’t a cheaper version, if anything it’s a more expensive version. What JW does well is world building and aesthetics combined with creative lore, and other things. JW has every single kind of action sub genre combined into an ultimate action franchise. It’s got car chases, gun fu, h2h combat, big stunts, weaponry, ninjas, cowboys, unique set designs. You dissing a movie that put all that together and made it work while also paying respects to Chinese/japanese/korean/western cinema just shows you’re a fuckin hater. The movie has hype rightfully so is because of people who understand the art behind these action movies and the attention to detail Chad and his team puts in it. JW still isn’t industry standard, the standard action movie are marvel or fast & furious movies. JW is held in high regards. If you can’t appreciate different kinds of action movies then that’s fine, just go complain and cry somewhere else.
