Oh yeah, when I was younger I watched the movie "Some Like It Hot" on TV (still one of my favorite comedies - screamingly funny!) and Marilyn preformed this song in it, then many years later I happen upon this commercial and take notice because of the song, and my reaction to the model's transformation into Marilyn was both surprise and delight - still one of my all-time favorite commercials!
Eugenia Papantonaki She didn't, this was an advert for Chanel No. 5. A perfume which Marilyn was quoted saying that she wore and was a big fan of. She had passed away a long time before this advert was made. The image of her which you see is a computer generated/animated image. :)
This ad is the first thing I think of when I think of Chanel No. 5. It burned itself into my brain in the '90s, for whatever reason
