Dandy wasn't the one running gardenview suggested by the toon handler portraits we can assume humans were running gardenview and due to lack of saftey regulations but this museum was made for kids so I assume the twisteds were made after it shutdown we can also see in some stages 2 main workers applied for a loan possibly to keep gardenview open ( one of the people who applied for the loan was Arthur Walton so I assumed he created gardenview ) once everyone left the toons were left to their own devices which is what I think led to dandy running the ichor operation so he could create clones of the toons to help around gardenview but something went wrong which leads to the game premise itself
My theory is that this other person who I assume created the toons and cofounded gardensview named Delilah Keen caused Dandy to turn into the first twisted through I note found in the game’s files, Arthur is talking to Delilah about something happening to “him” likely referring to dandy turning twisted, Arthur says that Delilah should’ve known that toons could turn twisted was even a possibility and she somehow let that happen, this could be sheer ignorance on Delilah or she intentionally let it happen, either to betray Arthur and take over the company, make the toons a powerful fighting force or to cause the downfall of the company and raise the toons as her own children but something went wrong though this whole plan, now dandy is trying to experiment on the toons with ichor likely to bring back the company himself with clones of the toons or create new toons, however, this whole plan is causing a waste of ichor and causing more twisteds to show up so Dandy sends to toons out to extract ichor so he can continue his experiments

A non-canon argument to support the "clone" theory is that Blush Crunch's other game (Flavor Frenzy) also has clones in a kind of similar away to this canonically, so it isn't that suprising for clones like this to be canon
Best idea about this is theory is either this "clone" is basically just failed project and since their human or handler is somehow or someway gone this failed project was free to roam around the room causing harm

double twisteds spawn when a lot of twisteds of a certain rarity spawn. this happens because there are not enough toons of a type for toon to be unique. say 5 common twisteds were to spawn. since there’s only 4 twisteds of that rarity, one will spawn twice

All of the Main Twisteds have altered footsteps sounds, which lets you hear where they are. Certain Main Twisteds have different effects that can be detected quickly (Vee's Advertisements, Shelly's Confusion, and Dandy's "Clair De Lune", for example.). Hope this helps!

I have a theory as to what happened to the toons So basically we know that we can extract Ichor but sometimes after you finish extracting the ichor sometime it says “Phew I’m glad that didn’t explode” meaning that maybe the original toons were helping extract ichor for an experiment they didn’t know would happen but when they extracted the ichor the machines exploded on them and they weren’t able to get far as within the floor the number of machines go up the higher you get up. Even sometimes when you walk around you can see traces of ichor where it looks like it would be possible to have a machine there which proves that machines exploded on the toons until they went corrupt. Even most of the toons look like they are crying,sad or unhappy meaning maybe Dandy conducted some experiments of some of the toons until they were corrupted making them unhappy in becoming corrupt. For some of the toons that look happy have probably been caught by Dandy for not smiling so they are forced to smile which mean they were all just originally created to try and cheer children in a warehouse because Dandy wanted to turn the children into toons and help him conduct the experiments and the loop keeps going but they went corrupt because of the ichor. The reason Dandy gets so mad when you don’t buy until he’s corrupt is probably because he wants you to buy so you don’t die from the corrupt versions because he thinks you can fix the mess that the toons have become but when he thinks you are useless he gets really mad and then starts having some kind of break down before becoming a twisted because he also wanted the tapes back to probably try and make the mess fixed. The reason Dandy looks so happy as a twisted is probably because he also wants to look appealing to us so he could lure us into getting turned into an experiment or a twist to work for him,that would be the reason why Dandy has rainbow petals to attract us to him. yeah. once you get to high enough floors where 6+ twisteds are spawning, it becomes more common to get dupes. otherwise the rarity of twisteds would become kinda trivial since by floor 30 they'd all be spawning anyway.

One thing that could support the theory of them being experimented on is that there’s some areas in the maps where you can see some object especially chairs surrounded by a black sustenance that i think is eye-chor and then some track leading to a closed door
WAIT what if the toons got turned into ichor monsters by the machines by dandy and they are trying to stop his operation because the machines broke and they got infected and since this makes them go crazy and this happed with a couple toons before gardenview closed it got cancelled and closed and dandy is still doing his opperation, the main probrally got infected in worse ways leading to there power

I would like to think that the toons were slowly going insane as the show stops aslong as the museum, maybe dandy tried to revive the show or place by ichor, the other toons would likely disagree. But having nothing else to do what he says, doing the machines, slowly the ichor would drip out of the machine from how much they were doing it, years later dandy finally had no one, before he decided to make clones. Wanting to continue the show and 'replace' the old ones. The twisted had a mind of their own though, they envy these new clones. How dare dandy replace them? I think this is what happened since we saw that the twisteds could still have a consiousness as seen from glisten who was searching for company before attacking them since we had to leave.
I love this theory, and find it very compelling, however my only major gripe with are the aforementioned ichor hearts on the mains. If the mains were clones, they’d probably either have two hearts, or three hearts. only the real mains, which are close to dandy, and thus more infected by ichor wouldnt have that third heart, because it’s been corrupted and become unusable. it could also potentially be the reason the twisted mains are stronger, a part of them is already twisted and corrupted while they’re a normal toon.
I believe that the one who signed the loan thing was a toon handler. Probably the one for pebble. The one in the middle with the crooked frame.. 6:21 . Not to mention he's very, very happy compared to the others, and he doesn't show his hands either but it cld js be totally irrelevant.

About the part where only one twisted can show up on a floor at a time, After floor 30 and higher, there could be 2 of the same main character on a floor. For example: 2 pebbles, 2 shelly's, etc... This has been seen on Goto Goat's getting to floor 100 video if you want to see it for yourself.
The human form of dandy is most likely dandy’s caretaker as seen in a map with a bunch of frames of all the main characters in a portrait with a caretaker (pebbles in is the portrait with dandy)
Little context on Arthur and Delilah: They are most likely the creators of Dandy’s world and made all the toon’s, Arthur designing them and Delilah doing the “bringing them to life” thing. It’s seems they had a falling out and are probably meant to represent Dandy (Delilah) and Astro (Arthur)
My theory is, since the toons are most likely filled with ichor rather than blood and we know the twisteds have been overcome by ichor, the twisteds were toons being produced and accidentally got overfilled with ichor causing it to take over their mind and exploding little bits of the character just wnough to where it oozes the ichor onto their bodies but you cant see the wound, but by the time they have the wounds, they have already been taken over.
Fun fact: we have no clue what vee is supposed to teach, and based on her design and other things, she honestly feels relatively recent in terms of characters. Also vee is an instigator of conflict if her personality and other things are to be believed. Also dandy might be a vintage

You can actually get double of the same Twisteds on the same floor if your high enough in machines, since that increases how many you deal with, but I’m pretty sure it’s very unlikely you will, commons are the most likely to double [pretty sure it’s just because they’re spawning rate, though I’m unsure if they’ve changed any of this]

This is so.. if you play Cookie Run Kingdom and if you have already go through the Golden Cheese episode.. it feels like that.. i think Dandy just wants harmony on the show.. theyre all friends afterall... 5:36 - Correction! Technically, yes, multiple of the same twisted is possible, but only on _extremely_ high floors, like eabove 50. You can see those phenomena happen on highest floor runs on youtube, old or new, there's always "twisted clones". These runs have, more noticeably double Main Characters most of the time. So... in technicalities, there having more than one specific toon is a thing.
here is a little theory my friend made and i said why not share it :D so the theory is called "cloning theory" basiclly in the rp of the game you can go behind dandys shop and there is a door with ichor so thats the cloning machine out the way we can now talk about the twisteds and toons the main toons like the first toons are the twisteds and the toons WE play as are cloned so thanks to totallynotreal for the theory
My theory is that the people who did the show once it got popular they tryed building and underground theme park but it never came to light as when the construction was almost done to be showed to the public one sience corporation (the ceo of the sience thingy was presublimlly one of the people who singed that contract) and the construcction stoped and not finishing the elevators and leaving it all unused. The sience comoany (who we will call SC cuz am lazy) used the facility to run experiments that would never be shown to the light, in the process they discovered one organic substance that could potentionally have its own counciusness and possibly a danger for humans. SC contacted the Dandys World studio as they had an idea: try to make the toons in real life, and maybe rehabilitate the facility. They agreed but they would keep it a secret too for now. Anyways they first tryied making dandy ofc, took notes and made every other toon. Even though they wanted them to think like they were on the show, dandy was the only one who didnt, and the amount of money spend on this was too much so they abbandoned the toons alone in the facility… so dandy kept doing the job. Then pretty much happend what you explained, dandy experiments on the toons turning them in twisteds, he creates clones, to tell them gather the tapes and machines ect

Turns out you only need one person, a solo to floor 25 got me a double shrimpo but you do need to get pretty far
Month, I got floor 19 and started to get to the same twisted to puppy to Buxton to main character just like dog vee

yeah. once you get to high enough floors where 6+ twisteds are spawning, it becomes more common to get dupes. otherwise the rarity of twisteds would become kinda trivial since by floor 30 they'd all be spawning anyway.

I never thought that dandy’s world actually story could be so dark, I always thought dandy wanted the tapes because he was greedy, but he just wanted to fix his mistake..
One thing that could support the theory of them being experimented on is that there’s some areas in the maps where you can see some object especially chairs surrounded by a black sustenance that i think is eye-chor and then some track leading to a closed door

Maybe failing checks is what gets them to break so vee comes for you when you mess up on purpose
5:34 that is possible it’s just rare once you start getting on high floors, though you will see a lot of repeating mains and especially common twisteds
I would like to think that the toons were slowly going insane as the show stops aslong as the museum, maybe dandy tried to revive the show or place by ichor, the other toons would likely disagree. But having nothing else to do what he says, doing the machines, slowly the ichor would drip out of the machine from how much they were doing it, years later dandy finally had no one, before he decided to make clones. Wanting to continue the show and 'replace' the old ones. The twisted had a mind of their own though, they envy these new clones. How dare dandy replace them? I think this is what happened since we saw that the twisteds could still have a consiousness as seen from glisten who was searching for company before attacking them since we had to leave.
I love this theory, and find it very compelling, however my only major gripe with are the aforementioned ichor hearts on the mains. If the mains were clones, they’d probably either have two hearts, or three hearts. only the real mains, which are close to dandy, and thus more infected by ichor wouldnt have that third heart, because it’s been corrupted and become unusable. it could also potentially be the reason the twisted mains are stronger, a part of them is already twisted and corrupted while they’re a normal toon.
This is a great video! In my opinion, this should be more popular than all those TikTok comps that just take videos

About the part where only one twisted can show up on a floor at a time, After floor 30 and higher, there could be 2 of the same main character on a floor. For example: 2 pebbles, 2 shelly's, etc... This has been seen on Goto Goat's getting to floor 100 video if you want to see it for yourself.
The human form of dandy is most likely dandy’s caretaker as seen in a map with a bunch of frames of all the main characters in a portrait with a caretaker (pebbles in is the portrait with dandy)

Little context on Arthur and Delilah: They are most likely the creators of Dandy’s world and made all the toon’s, Arthur designing them and Delilah doing the “bringing them to life” thing. It’s seems they had a falling out and are probably meant to represent Dandy (Delilah) and Astro (Arthur)

My theory is, since the toons are most likely filled with ichor rather than blood and we know the twisteds have been overcome by ichor, the twisteds were toons being produced and accidentally got overfilled with ichor causing it to take over their mind and exploding little bits of the character just wnough to where it oozes the ichor onto their bodies but you cant see the wound, but by the time they have the wounds, they have already been taken over.

You can actually get double of the same Twisteds on the same floor if your high enough in machines, since that increases how many you deal with, but I’m pretty sure it’s very unlikely you will, commons are the most likely to double

Someone probably already pointed this out but it IS possible to get two of the same monster spawn in the same floor, but this is extremely rare and not an intentional feature (and every update only makes it rarer by adding more twisteds)

5:36 - Correction! Technically, yes, multiple of the same twisted is possible, but only on _extremely_ high floors, like eabove 50. You can see those phenomena happen on highest floor runs on youtube, old or new, there's always "twisted clones". These runs have, more noticeably double Main Characters most of the time. So... in technicalities, there having more than one specific toon is a thing.

My theory is that the people who did the show once it got popular they tryed building and underground theme park but it never came to light as when the construction was almost done to be showed to the public one sience corporation (the ceo of the sience thingy was presublimlly one of the people who singed that contract) and the construcction stoped and not finishing the elevators and leaving it all unused. The sience comoany (who we will call SC cuz am lazy) used the facility to run experiments that would never be shown to the light, in the process they discovered one organic substance that could potentionally have its own counciusness and possibly a danger for humans. SC contacted the Dandys World studio as they had an idea: try to make the toons in real life, and maybe rehabilitate the facility. They agreed but they would keep it a secret too for now. Anyways they first tryied making dandy ofc, took notes and made every other toon. Even though they wanted them to think like they were on the show, dandy was the only one who didnt, and the amount of money spend on this was too much so they abbandoned the toons alone in the facility… so dandy kept doing the job. Then pretty much happend what you explained, dandy experiments on the toons turning them in twisteds, he creates clones, to tell them gather the tapes and machines ect
Actually, the same twisted character can appear on one floor. It’s only at the extremely higher floors and that’s just because the game bugs out sometimes and accidentally loads something like two twisted pebbles on one floor

Hey, just to let you know you made a pronunciation error. The liquid that takes over the twisteds, and the liquid that you have to extract from the machines (they are both the same thing) is pronounced eye core.
@@hjglockner yeh, I actually did search it up to see how to pronounce it and it said eye-chor but it just didn’t sound right to me so I asked everyone around me about it and they all said they pronounced it Ick-or so I thought it was just like an either or word. I checked again recently and learned it was only eye-chor though so I’m gonna switch to using that next video. Thanks for the info.
