I love these cars, BUT I hate taking off the bodies and putting the body back ono the chassis. I think that most clubs are flattening out the motor wire with plyers. Seems to work well.
Policar seems to beat Carrera in the price point for 1/32 scale slot racing alot cheaper and great quality cars and tracks and you can use scaleletrix and Carrera on the track as well

My tires hookup just fine on my Carrera
NSR makes some pretty thin wire.

if you use a Slot Tech chip AND you know how to do VERY small soldering.. maybe, yes.

yes you can use any brand of analog 1/32 on Policar track.
