hey... you made someone happy tonight.
Joshua, you just saved my ass on my analytics test. Thank you sir! Keep up the great work!
So brief and to the point and clear. You were SO helpful. Thank you.
Joshua, you are a life-saver. I appreciate all the content that you've uploaded. Thank you!
WOW!!!! This helped me so so much you really will be the reason I pass this class! I felt at a loss with my current professor, but when you explained it - IT CLICKED! Great video, I'm sure it'll continue to help people through the years.
Thank you so much!!! You made my day! I was able to do my school assignment thanks to this video. Many thanks!!!!
Thank you, Joshua! I had to watch your video for this, as my professor did not explain this well at all. I am new to using Excel for my class. I am watching all of your videos, and referring to my colleagues. You're a proficient professor. Also, for anchoring the variables, it's function + F4 on the newer PC's. Thank you, again !!!
Glad to hear and thanks for sharing the goodness.
Thank you SO MUCH, sir, it helped A LOT!!!🙏
Thanks a lot, it was very clear and helpful illustration
My online teacher’s video and audio quality is so back in having to look for these. Now I know what the heck he meant well partly
Thank you, it helped out a lot!
Superb video! Thank you!
Great video!
Thnku so much...this video is really very helpful... I have solved questions after watching this video very easily 😊 support and love from India
Most welcome 😊
Tx man great work ❤👍🏻
Great boss. continue
Thank you bro, I love you
Can you make it for RSA, your explanation is very nice!!
Thank you sooo much sir.
Thankyou very much for this, it made it so much clearer. Please do you have a video for linking and binary constraints?
Not to bother. I found all i wanted on your page. Thank you very much
VERY HELPFULL
thank you, you save me from uni
YOU ARE PERFECT
Bro you literally saved my ass, thank you!
omg. thank you so much
Thanku soo much 😊
absolute goat
It really helped
Life-saver
Thanks💜
Awesome
Really amazing explanation! Thank you! I have one question which is, do we have to add another constraint specifying x1, x2, x3 >= 0. I did not see that in the constraints box. Or it is covered when we ticked the below box for non-negativity? Thanks in advance
Yes, nonnegativity is applied when you check the non-negativity box.
@@joshemman Got it. Thanks for the video and the quick reply . Keep going prof!!
you're awesome
can I get the question for this solution, as in statement of the problem

THANKS YOU ! EZ PZ !
Do you have a video of how to make a graph about this? Thank you so much.
Search for Joshua LP Graph. Note that Graphical solutions are limited to 2 decision variables.
Thanks much
My pleasure, RHE
Hello, Joshua Im just wondering how you would adjust this process if there was an requirement for X3 = 0?
For X3 = 0, input "1" under the X3 variable, and "0" on the right side. Otherwise, you can omit X3 altogether. from the model.
the formula in cell e2 gives error message on my excel. There is no mistake in what we do but it just does not work
Make the cells are either empty or contain only numbers, then try this pasting this:
=SUMPRODUCT(B3:D3,B2:D2)
Can you help me with these.I am confused with the last 3x1 >= 50,x2 >= 30, x3
For 3x1 >= 50, enter 3 under x1 and 50 on RHS.
For x2 >= 30, enter 1 under x2 and 30 on RHS.
For x3
hello! how do you add the X subscript 1?
Here you go: ruclips.net/video/IDkAv4IWHho/видео.html
Hi! I followed the exact same process but i dont know why all my values are coming out to be zero...if you know can you help why?
One issue might be with selecting the Min radio button in Solver instead of Max. You should also check that your formulas are correct.
i am some questions,
Max: 500X1+3.75X2+70Y1+60Y2+40Y3−750
i am not sure where i should put the 750 as it is not a variable
can you please explain, thank you
What does the 750 represent?
@@joshemman just a constant
@@brianng3989 If it is just a constant, then it is fine as you wrote it.
I can’t access the “About” function for your email. Kindly reach out pls
I can't post it here for obvious reasons but you can find it through a quick Google search.
Why my LHS doesn’t equal RHS after solver.
When LHS does not equal RHS, there is a slack or surplus.
@@joshemman okkkk. Thank u so muchhh
my sumproduct is bringing up an error
What exactly did you type and what error are you getting?
can anyone help me solve below question?
flour A contains 20% fiber, 15% protein and 1.09% Acid
insoluble ash : cost Rs 6/kg
flour B contains 0.5% fiber, 10% protein and 0.06% acid insoluble ash ; cost Rs 90/kg
constraints; fiber greater than equals to 10%, protein greater than equals to 13%, acid insoluble ash less than equals to 0.15
total flour to be made is 1 kg with minimum cost.
There is no feasible solution to this problem. Some values are probably incorrect.
Why is excel even considered for linear programming? its so obsolete and garbage, you can solve the same problem in matlab with less effort. Excel is so dogshit and outdated
Most people don't have access to matlab but they have Excel. Besides, many will not be solving LPs in their professions but they might be using Excel.
@@joshemman Youre make a good point. However, I am interested in this field and not using newer, industry used programs puts me at a disadvantage. Anyways thanks for the videos, you are really good at excel and made it easy to learn.
