I haven't heard you mentioned lethal weapon yet It's set around Christmas time "Lethal Weapon" (1987)Warner Bros. The original buddy cop action-comedy pairing Mel Gibson with Danny Glover is set during Christmastime in Los Angeles
I watched Untamed Heart on Pluto TV the other day its still a good film. Its been a long time that I have seen it. I agree its a Christmas film its a sad but sweet film. We need a 4k of that film for sure.
Non Christmas movies that have Christmas? I can go back to Alexander Korda's "Things to Come" from 1936, starring Raymond Massey. Movie begins during Christmas Eve, in a place called "Everytown" (although it is really London), when all of a sudden, war breaks out, eerily foreshadowing what would really happen just a few years later. Based on H.G Wells novel, it was the only one of his adaptions in which Wells participated in the making of this movie. Criterion has a great copy!
A lot good ones mentioned here. I’ll add: Eyes Wide Shut Carol The Long Kiss Goodnight Gremlins Batman Returns Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Fargo Little Women (1994) While You Were Sleeping The Sound of Music Sometimes it doesn’t even need Christmas in it to feel like a Christmas movie. The overall aesthetic of the film can be enough to get me there. Edit: I googled it myself and saw someone joke that Se7en is a Christmas movie because of the “gift” in the box. Lol sorry morbid humor is always fun.
I would love a Sue top 25 all time movies video
