Today, we're taking a look at the Master Lock Contractor Grade Single-Hinged Hasp. Now this hasp is designed to secure doors, trunk lids, and more. It's great for sheds, gates, and cabinets. The hinged body is perfect for angled and uneven applications. It's got a very versatile design right there in the middle on that hinge. It reaches easily around corners. Then we have the hidden hinge pin.
It's virtually impossible to remove. A really nice design. Overall, it's a very tough design as well. We're looking at a heavy-gauge, hardened steel body. It's very strong and durable. Protective finishing keeps the unit safe from rust and corrosion.
We do have the rolled edges, which minimize tampering. That makes it more difficult to pretty, and it conceals the mounting screws.Your mounting hardware is included. You will need a padlock. Your padlock is sold separately.A few measurements we want go over with you real quick. Start with the overall length of the unit, measuring edge-to-edge going this direction.
That gives us a measurement of about 6-1/4". The width is about 1-13/16". The main body depth, that's how far it sticks off the installation surface, is about 7/16" deep. The unit will accept a shackle with a diameter no greater than 7/16".I want to go over the mounting measurements for you. Our mounting plate right here, that measures about 1-9/16 to 1-5/8 by about 1-3/4.
The mount holes are separated on-center by 11/16 going that direction and about 15/16" going this direction. This piece outer edge to outer edge, measures about 1-3/4" by 1-1/2". Mount holes on this, on this direction, separated by about 7/8 to 15/16" going that direction. Then this direction, we're looking at about 1-1/8", of hole separation on-center.That's going to do it for today's look at the Master Lock Contractor Grade Single-Hinged Hasp.
