Thank God! capsule wardrobe does not work for me either. I can see most of my wardrobe in any season!!! Just give yourself time to select before you get to dress and go.
I might put together a “capsule wardrobe” for a trip, but I have much more selection and variety than that in my wardrobe. I just love having a lot of choices, I didn’t always have this abundance and that wasn’t fun at all. I agree, capsule wardrobes aren’t for everyone🙂
I can relate to you. I used to love those bright, colorful colors and I find myself not using them as much even those I once loved. I’m slowly pulling some clothing and finding a new home where it can be loved. Thank you for the tips!!
I’m doing the same! With every wardrobe switch over I sell/donate more of the colourful pieces I don’t wear so that I only have the pieces I LOVE in my wardrobe!❤️
I had to buy a whole new wardrobe in 2023 because of years of weight loss, I literally didn’t have clothes that wouldn’t fall off. Last year, I was finally in a position to afford it. I’m thrilled with my new wardrobe, it’s the best I ever had, and everything is high quality and classic, my focus for it. Thanks for your tips🙂
i myself prefer the term "curated" wardrobe. My only "restriction" is that I need all my clothes to fit in my closet so I can see everything, all seasons combined! I need to see everything so I get more creative in matching and mixing. I often suppress my urge of buying new things by inventing new combo inspired by Pinterest or Instagram. It is mind blowing how many outfits you can create with what you already have!!!
Great video! I’m also more classic than ever before! However do you ever get bored? You actually looked great in colors that were brighter. I have your coloring and I know some colors wash out our complexion and look a bit sick.
Thank you! I still love colour but I’m more drawn to the versatility of neutrals. I used to get bored with a very basic wardrobe, until I started really playing around with accessories. Now I intentionally wear accessories to elevate my look and make them look and feel more exciting. I try to stick to cool toned neutrals as I know that suits me best.❤️
Welcome back! Everything you talked about. I have learned from watching you Uber the past year or so. I am now ready to focus on investment pieces such as a luxury Felt and handbags. Like you comma I gave up the heels long ago and stick with flats or a kitten hill or a Low platform. I found that a couple of white t-shirts. Black t-shirts, white tank tops black tank tops etc. Allow me to always have something to wear even if I haven't done the laundry lately. They Layer very well. Also my next investment is a pants press!
I would love to see a video on how to find your personal style. I have gone a bit overboard the last two years of revamping my wardrobe. This has been the first year, though of purchasing clothing during the season sales that were uber tempting. I think I felt that I wanted to buy all the things I wanted at once and I hope that I won't have to purchase any or very few items this year. I want to take the pieces I have and create new looks. I am about to turn 67 this month and I remember when I was a youngster the only sales retail stores had was after Christmas. Everything was always full price. I also remember that retail stores extra hours were only on Monday and Thursday evenings. Stores were always closed on Sundays. Things have changed. Of course, we didn't have online shopping either. Thanks for your tips.
Thanks Diane! It really is tempting to go crazy in the sales. It’s those ads that show you what’s on sale and make you feel like you need EVERYTHING! I will definitely work on a personal style video in the next few weeks❤️
Hi sansha what are great video really good advice its funny your trousers are similar to you wall and it looks like you have no legs just a floating body ❤
The lavender is versatile in a sense, but I realized I go for a neutral bag instead of a colour more often than not. I didn’t find it versatile for how I style my outfits.😊

Me too! The only things I rotate are chunky knits and coats and swap for summer dresses and shorts. Apart from that I wear most pieces year round.❤️
Happy to see you back! This is a great video full of great advice. Thank you!
Thanks Judy! I’m glad you enjoyed it!❤️

Those layering pieces are key! I actually steam all my pants and that works really well to get the wrinkle free😊❤️

Hi Emily, is there a specific link you wanted?❤️
you talked about doing an update about how you found your personal style. @@styled.bysansha
I thought a lavender bag would be versatile: it can be worn with black outfits, white, brown, navy, grey ones!!!!....
The lavender is versatile in a sense, but I realized I go for a neutral bag instead of a colour more often than not. I didn’t find it versatile for how I style my outfits.😊
