This song was first played as one of the songs for the soundtrack of a French made movie. Was a big hit in France as was played in the movie in a scene where a beautiful woman takes off riding a horse.
Peter, it has been about 8 years since I saw you playing on the streets of Canberra. I remember hearing this song vividly and it has stuck with me ever since - hence the comment! We had a great chat and I’m still very appreciative of your friendliness and genuine guitar-playing talent. Hope all is well! Jack
I heard this song for the first time in a slideshow of holiday photos my grandparents made over 10 years ago. Then again in a powerpoint at an exhibition. The 3rd time was in a youtube video last year, and it caught me by total surprise. Now possessing tools capable of finding the name by sound, I did. This song brings me more nostalgia than anything else on earth
Hi Peter from Germany, thank you for your engagement and your music. It is wonderful to hear and to see you ... although the conditions are so, that you cannot be with us this year in Europe/Germany....
Thanks for your interest. I don’t have the tab or music for this as I worked it out by ear of the original audio recording. My video shows the chords I’m holding so shouldn’t be too hard to work through. You may want to practice finger-style alternating thumb patterns to get to play the tune. The video close ups here will help. Good luck with it all!!!
