In response to the question, do you build the exterior or redstone part first? For me, it really depends on the project. I typically build the shell first because I'm a cosmetic style builder. More times than not, I just dig a really big hole and hide it below ground level if it's too big for my build. Another great episode, I'm really excited to see you add in all the decorative elements.
I think if you prioritise estetics over function it's the way to go. Plus with building the shell first you challenge yourself to fit everything in as efficiently as possible which is sort of like making yourself a 3D jigsaw puzzle. The real challenge for me will be the decoration but I have some ideas brewing so definitely soon!
