It gives the exhaust note a lower tone but I don't find it to be raspy especially when you just drive around casually. If you go full throttle then it could be raspy.

is the sound raspy at all in person? mine has a terrible rattle/ raspy sound at about 4-5k rpm, im worried the cat is going bad
