People pan the Eco Warriors and the Cobra toxo terrorism concept from the 90's but indeed it is a cool concept, I was a teenager by those years and was not a Joe kid anymore but I loved the concept and we should remember that bio terrorism was a current concern globally for those years.
Yeah, people weren't laughing during the 2000s anthrax attacks or the recent chem attacks in Syria. We have civilian and military specialists in these fields for a reason. And there's a reason that many organizations and nations use chem and germ warfare as a terror tactic.
Not including a driver was a missed opportunity for Larry Hama to have some fun w/the file card. I could see him naming him Duke E. Brown from Flushing (Queens), New York.
This was what Cobra Maintenance used to clean out the grease traps at the Cobra Terror Drome. This just needed to come with a 3.75" scale 200' flexible cable with removable auger bits...
As always, a highly informative and entertaining review! Thanks Timmer for joining in this week! I just subscribed to Half the Battle! Love reviews that can make me laugh and teach me!lol
You and Timmer would make a great team working together! Your combined material is gold. You guys should think about collaborating on something big together, like a month theme (yes, I realize Cobra Convergences have happened)
Nice review, as a kid I had no access to the original HISS tank and wanted it so badly I got the Septic Tank instead. As with the Hammer, I am glad the European release got an upgrade: vinyl stickers instead of paper. This also applies to a lot of other 90s vehicles, like the Liquidator and Storm Eagle.
Let the hate rain but I like this tank I don't care for the gimmick hate the color but I had it as a kid and it has potential for customs like timmer did also I hope I'm not too late but I'm sending my fridge video to you tonight
Damn you timmer, the life debt on Steve better be up. My retinas need a break. HCC788 you are a real hero, a review like this would break average mortals.
I think this was their attempt to jump in on stuff like Toxic Crusaders and Captain Planet touched on...neon colours and radioactive/toxic waste stuff everywhere. Not that I mind, I dig that kinda stuff but...I really don't like the turret on this tank.
I love the artwork and the concept of the Septic Tank, I think it's wild but only thing I would've changed is the colours purple body with blue canopy and gun wouldve looked great.
I think within the Gi joe comics there is room for this thing just don't use it as a battle tank but instead use it for territories attacks on unarmed people.
I felt like you at first, but then, it grew on me, but I liked the eco warriors s design in the first place. like barbeque and lifeline, I like the specialized color schemes. I d really love you to review the toxolab now, lol. as with any vehicles, I like that you point out flaws, it s always candy!, lol. this might have been the last vehicle I bought, ever.
I will definitely get to the Toxo Lab eventually! I don't own one yet. I'm glad the vehicle grew on you. If I ever find it growing on me, I'll see a doctor to have it removed.
This tank would make an amazing project a different gun, trim the surrounding pipe off canopy looks more like an armored canopy then a little paint personally in Tiger Force colors cause seems odd this iconic tank wasn't used
hey, would you do a 'collector s privilege' and post just scenes and your view of the pieces? I d like to see all cobra frogmen together, or all cobra troopers aligned. all the hawks, all arctic, desert. ect. that d be pretty cool.
HCC 788 you could always do what I did with the Septic Tank like I did. I customized mine with vintage H.I.S.S tank. I also got hold of some nice repro stickers. I had gotten a few of them in a box lot and like you did not care for them as they were. So what I did is great a specialized battalion of these H.I.S.S tanks. Kind of like Crimson version made a bit ago.
Indeed, it was. If I was not a hard core G.I. Joe fan, I doubt I would have bought any action figures released from 1990-1994. Still we occasionally got some decent figures like Big Ben version 1, and the mail in version of Lifeline.
A big shout out to HCC788 for taking one for the team (damn you Timmer!) and putting yourself through this review, which, somehow was actually pretty good!
Ah the Septic Tank. It's like the 90's took a dump on the HISS tank. Also, on the prototype you can see that they stuck a syringe into the gun for the water shooting feature.
Absolutely all of y'all should. Put all of that you have of this vehicle in a big box and send them to my address PM me I'll give you my address and I can proper weight. Store them so no one will ever see them again including me because I'm blind
When these came out with all the ECO warrior themed figures , my sons and I were pretty much done with GI Joe...We went to MOTU and Transformers. GI Joe was disappointing at this time to say the least. Horrible ideas lead to the end of a great run. Why they had to change I'll never know. The corporate designers we're reaching...the thing is , I don't think they had to. Trying to keep up with Ninja Turtles and other franchises really dented this brand. Sci Fi started it all...no...just....noooooooo!
G.I. Joe toys strayed away from the original military concept too much into the 1990's. The Septic Tank was just another failed attempt to compete with early 1990's environmentally-related toy lines like Captain Planet, which was terrible enough.
I remember getting this as a gift. I remember using it as a Hiss tank in my battles.

*SUPER RIMSHOT*

I think you and Timmer should become a comedy duo. This was great!!!!
HoodedCobraComander788 I love this vehicle I loved the eco warrior gimmick too I'll take that septic tank off your hands.
As always, a highly informative and entertaining review! Thanks Timmer for joining in this week! I just subscribed to Half the Battle! Love reviews that can make me laugh and teach me!lol
Thanks, Delbert! I am a big fan of Half the Battle.
Yay, Timmer! I love that guy. And who doesn't?
I'll second that. He's hilarious! XD
I am a big fan of Timmer!
This is GLARINGLY good vehicle, the accessory should have been sunglasses.
I always thought these eco warriors water gimmicks and colors were an attempt to cash in on the super soaker fad in the early 1990s.
Except Super Soakers and G.I. Joe are both made by hasbro😂
@@mystics1ay3r17 even better when you can’t get sued!

thank you for doing these videos. Takes me back to my childhood
I actually like this toy, now that I see it. Nice nod to the old Sunny D commercials. Looks like Timmer couldn't have his cake and eat it too.
I'm glad you liked it!

I love your videos, I love Timmer's videos, a video made by both of you is the best I can wish! Go on, you're a great team!
OMG, that Sunny D commercial reference. Perfect.
Thank you. :)
I can't help thinking HoodyCoCo might not like this toy.
Let the hate rain but I like this tank I don't care for the gimmick hate the color but I had it as a kid and it has potential for customs like timmer did also I hope I'm not too late but I'm sending my fridge video to you tonight
+Mike Smith I'll be looking for it.
Mike Smith I just now bought one, thanks to this review.
Makes you miss the Cold War.

Some call me a hero. And they are right.
In case you're wondering if it was still a wonderful toy for a 10 year old... Yes. I loved this eyesore to death.
I had that septic tank dude with half face.
I think this was their attempt to jump in on stuff like Toxic Crusaders and Captain Planet touched on...neon colours and radioactive/toxic waste stuff everywhere. Not that I mind, I dig that kinda stuff but...I really don't like the turret on this tank.
Please do a Cobra Toxo-Lab review, thanks !
I love the Sunny D commercial . It seems like they started making cheep garbage after 1989 .
I want to see that canopy reproduced in another color and placed on normal hiss tanks.
I felt like you at first, but then, it grew on me,
but I liked the eco warriors s design in the first place.

4:22 imagine if it actually had 2 hook up 2 a septic tank and it would spray the gi joe eco warriors literally with shit
I love your videos
Thank you!
I only have one thing to say about the Septic Tank: "Barf me out and gag me with a spoon!"
Like, totally.
All 8 Eco Warriors disliked this one.
Instead of that weird-ass septic tank, COBRA should have had a Desert version of the 'Hiss' like I see on the Net from time to time...
Great ending :-D
Thanks for staying to the end!
This tank would make an amazing project a different gun, trim the surrounding pipe off canopy looks more like an armored canopy then a little paint personally in Tiger Force colors cause seems odd this iconic tank wasn't used

So glad I'm an 80's kid good Lord
Commando 1985 ditto
The 90s was a rough time, man.
Indeed, it was. If I was not a hard core G.I. Joe fan, I doubt I would have bought any action figures released from 1990-1994. Still we occasionally got some decent figures like Big Ben version 1, and the mail in version of Lifeline.
Skeptic tank...great pun.
i was done when gi joe went circus colors... and really it seems to me they were too.
Feel free to send me the septic tank...
You'll have to ask Timmer. He's probably already painted it black by now.
Will u review the battle talking commanders
I will eventually. I don't know when I'll get to it. It is not easy to schedule things.
mcbrotherhill I always loved the internal logic and deco of figures wearing backpacks the size of refrigerators.
Do u think the septic tank goes well with lobotomaxxx???
I don't think Lobotomaxx would fit. His big legs with double feet wouldn't fit in the cockpit nor the turret.
MEME and nasty, isn't it Timmer?
Do only thing I like bout this vehicle is the door or cannonpee
It looks like the plunger on the box art is white because they literally just shoved a syringe up inside the prototype cannon and called it a day.
I'm officially blind now thank you HCC788
JK, Good Review!👍😂
I am not responsible for any optometrist bills.
A big shout out to HCC788 for taking one for the team (damn you Timmer!) and putting yourself through this review, which, somehow was actually pretty good!
I'm glad you liked the review!
Septic tank is so bad it's good
Ah the Septic Tank. It's like the 90's took a dump on the HISS tank. Also, on the prototype you can see that they stuck a syringe into the gun for the water shooting feature.
Luckily I had stopped collecting Joes by then...
You and me both. If Cobra-La hadn't killed my interest, this would have.
Strategic/Elite/Patrol/To/Intercept/C***
Review. . THE EARTHQUAKE. ..?
I'm betting that tube is a standard size, measure the outer and inner diameters.
Absolutely all of y'all should. Put all of that you have of this vehicle in a big box and send them to my address PM me I'll give you my address and I can proper weight. Store them so no one will ever see them again including me because I'm blind
Several years ago when I was heavily collecting vintage vehicles I REFUSED to buy this. I had to draw the line somewhere.
A bright orange monstrosity ..Ahhahahaaaa..nice review though ....
Glad you liked it. :)
This was the vehicle that put me off Action force/GI Joe lol awful deffo
the joecon exclusive modern septic tank looks better.
This was my stand in HiSS when I was a kid till I was old enough to use spray paints.
Even as a kid, I thought naming this "the septic tank" was the lamest pun ever.
When these came out with all the ECO warrior themed figures , my sons and I were pretty much done with GI Joe...We went to MOTU and Transformers. It just looks like a big bright chunk of soft plastic

I agree. They were chasing trends and got pretty far away from their core concept.
It looks like a cheap knockoff.
A moving Bullseye Target is more practical than this.
What in TARNation it was painted to blind the enemy... Lol 😂
They could put it on the end of the runway on Cobra Island to guide in planes. They could see it from the air at night.
This "Tank" is so embarrassingly Bad.
This is a vary stupid looking toy!! By 1991, I was done with G.I. Joe!!😣😒
