Retake Of The Glass Otis Gen2 Lift In John Lewis in The St James Shopping Centre In Edinburgh This Lift Used To Be A Glass Otis Europa Made in 1985 Then in 2016 It Got Modernised in 2016 By Otis Gen2. I managed To get a full Good Ride On This Glass Lift.

Everybody seems to think this is a Europa originally XD it was built in around 1973 when the store first opened and was modded in the late 80’ / early 90’s to look like a Europa then modded again in 2015 to look like a GeN2. The lift is far to slow a hydraulic for G-4 and would benefit from a replacement

@@Morgansliftadventures Europa came out in the 80’s this store dates back to the early 70’s including this lift it was modernised in the early 90’s to have new buttons therefore does not make it a Europa

That’s what there doing with all John Lewis lifts that have these indicators they keep them like the kones in Glasgow that got modernised by Otis Gen2 they still have that same indicator from when they were kones.

Not a Gen2, There are no hydraulic Gen2's. This is a mod from an older lift.
