This is the divergence value of 1.123581%. Maybe this is 1.1235814% while the anime is 1.1235813% due to short haired Kagari and less vibes between Maho and Rintarou.

Have no idea why people keep saying the OVA and Deja Vu movie is not canon. The OVA and movies was made in collaboration with .5pb, Nitroplus and White Fox studios, the OVA and movie can be considered canon until at least any other official media or game from .5pb and Nitroplus themselves directly deny the events in the OVA and movie.
As for a third season, it is possible to do something, given the amount of material. It's just whether they want to do it or not, and whether they can integrate it into the currently established story, smartly.
As far as I can see, a third entry to the series could maybe touch on the Committee of 300 and go more in-depth into story. Perhaps link the Steins:Gate World Line, in terms of background events or setting, to that of Robotic;Notes and Chaos;Child.
A third entry is not entirely impossible, but quite unlikely.
In any case, anyone who enjoyed Steins;Gate have to watch or play Steins;Gate 0. It'll make you appreciate the entire story and how the True Ending was actually achieved. It just adds that much more value to the story. I, myself am waiting for the English version of Steins;Gate Elite to be released. So gonna play the heck out of it and relive the memories.
Just my two cents. personal opinion and nothing more. Steins;Gate is and always will be my favorite series.
    Edit:
Only noticed these couple of comments 1 year later, but another of my two cents.
    - All material can be considered canon, as long as they are from the same publisher/developers/author, etc. They've intended it to be this way in the first place, especially with how much leeway they can play around with the time travel genre. All are canon, so stop trying to put one material above the other, as if the other is trash. If you hate it that much, then you really shouldn't support the series at all.

"Have no idea why people keep saying the OVA and Deja Vu movie is not canon."
      - The OVA contradicts with the official after story, the Holy Day of Scourge light novel
      - The movie contradicts with the rules of time travel and worldlines which were established in the anime and in the VN as well.

    Just my thoughts here...
A "Steins Gate" world line refers to(theoretically at least, but proven by 1.048596β) any world line that, regardless of where it is designated within an Attractor Field, lies between two Attractor Fields thereby effectively cancelling out their respective causal influences(eg: See Steins:Gate true Ending).
    2. 0's Okabe was only able to reach that conclusion by brute forcing open a Beta World Line that would allow just the right conditions for his past, or rather, the first game's, self to reach the True End via a long series of D-Mails sent to several parties all at once and at different points in the "past".
The other issue was 0's Mayuri and Suzuha. Namely their retrieval from the botched 2011 depaeture(See Vega and Altair).
The goals of Operation Skuld, Operation Aquila(Arc Light), and Operation Altair would take 14 years and the development of yet another time machine(FG-C193. The "first" time machine).
However, 2 other keys were needed.
    1. Kagari herself, who seems unique to the Beta Attractor Field but whose existence is very much a necessary trigger/anomaly.
    2. The D-Rine 0's okabe would later recieve from the 1st 0 branch world line(Kurisu's ending).
Both of these were just as crucial to allowing 0's True End as it was for all of those hoops experienced in 0 to allow the past Okabe to finally reach the Steins Gate.
A similar case would be within the Alpha Attractor Field and Okabe. SERN purposely released Okabe in order to allow his founding the Valkyries and preserve the history they knew.
    Same idea.
A feat only possible through an artificial form of Reading Steiner that SERN has in the Alpha lines.
Skip to 2025---The date Okabe should die.
By creating the Milky Way Crossing world line, he forced open an option that was Operation Altair(The same case as the alternate 2036 Okabe would later time leap from despite having "died" in 2025---See Kurisu Ending)
That just leaves what happened to 0's Okabe, Suzuha and Mayuri.
They *cannot* return to the Beta world line. That would effectively undo all their hard work.
    This then could infer.
    1. Their arrival in a world line within an Attractor field with a Divergence value 5 or above whose causal ends(convergence points) are unknown.
    2. Their arrival in Attractor Fields whose Divergence values fall at -1 or below.
Cases 1 and 2 naturally will exclude any and all world lines within the Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, and Omega Attractor Fields unless explicitly proven otherwise or--- (simplicity's sake and to exclude "known" variables)
    3. They arrive in a "Steins Gate" world line between 2 other Attractor Fields free of causal influence such that it allows a mutually exclusive outcome not possible within the Attractor Fields it lies between in some point point in the "future" relative to the "past".
These outcomes can either be thought of as "one off miracles", or the possible seeds from which a new Attractor Field may be born. (My personal conjecture, but it *should* be possible)
A plausible precondition being that they "decieved the world" to reach it.
Case 3 could explain certain discrepancies and anomalies unique to 0 outside the plot, namely the insertion of Kagari into the Beta Attractor Field from somewhere completely outside any other known world lines or Attractor Fields via the condition that the world itself was successfully tricked so as to avoid(at least on the surface) any deviations to "fate" as dictated by any given Attractor Field's world line convergence points. Another factor to consider for case 3 to apply would be that at least 2 normally mutually exclusive outcomes must "occur" yet be "negated".
    For example.
    1. Okabe Rintarou sees Makise Kurisu "dead in a pool of her own blood" *and* Shiina Mayuri must "not be killed at some point in August 2010".
    But, who really knows.

    • @stonecat676
      @stonecat676 6 лет назад +3

I've never seen anyone bring up divergence number beyond 5 before. Do you have a source for this? Why 5? And not 2? Between 1 and 2 is already an infinite number of world lines, we don't need such a large number.

    • @sleepyprinny
      @sleepyprinny 6 лет назад +7

      Jo Fu
      1. Purely hypothetical. No need to nitpick. Besides, why not?
      2. Divergence values for Attractor Fields between -0 and 4 have been explored across various media(eg: VNs, drama CDs and other stories like Linear Bound Phenogram which has a story set in world lines 4.456441, 4.456442, 4.493624, 4.493623, 4.530805, and 4.530806%)
      3. I simply excluded known Attractor Fields since they are knowns. No real reason to count them since they've been accounted for and explored somewhat. That just left any Attractor Field values that are total unknowns.
      4. Again, just *my* thoughts.
Not claiming any rightness here. I mean, you could argue for any stray world line really, so long as they provide the right conditions for a behind the scenes cheat---which is fine if you can come up with a scenario that skirts known convergences. I just felt like using totally unknown values for simplicity's sake, that's all.

@@shreshtchavan980 Well for Suzuha and Mayuri they supposely return to 2025, but this Suzuha that went to 18000 BC with Mayuri doesn’t really have any place to go back to, as she is basically the Suzuha that failed to motivate Okabe to go back one more time to save Kurisu and her wordline stops there, u also can notice she is replaced by this kid Suzuha while 0 Okabe was recording the video. This kid Suzuha is the one that won’t fail to motivate Okabe and help him reach Steins;Gate, though the other Suzuha that failed could just stick with them in 2025 just until the kid Suzuha in 2036 helps the other Okabe to reach Steins;Gate and then all the war zone stuff becomes like a distant dream to everyone cause Beta wordline will be dead by then. Now as for the 0 Okabe if he went back to 2025 with them he would die as he is destined to die this year in Beta worldline. So we don’t really know, we can only make up theories about it.

The video message was about Operation Skuld details, which would she later explains the details to the 2010 Okabe, after he failed to save Kurisu once. But this plan was totally dependant on Okabe's success on saving Mayuri and Suzuha. Why in the original true ending of SG she can't remember the D-Mail, and why Mayuri isn't with Suzuha in the time machine in 2010, you ask? Because at that time when she receives the d-mail, because of the world line shift, she would never remember receiving the video and the gap between 2010 and 2011 would totally change, as they would already reached the Steins Gate.
