So basically even Future Okabe manages to deceive the world in his own way: by using the time machine to disappear from his wordline, the convergence can't kill him, as there's no way for him to change the past nor the future. It's the same concept used to reach the True Ending in the first game by making Past Okabe believe Kurisu was dead, making the convergence unable to kill her since the past hasn't been changed.
man that hug with Maho absolutely destroyed me. just thinking back about all those times Kurise and Leskinen constantly teased her about it. not only did it up becoming true, she held back her feelings all the way to the end out of respect for Kurisu... ugh

If I'm being honest, the way this ending was handled in the Anime adaptation was much more satisfying than in the visual novel. I've seen a lot of confusion due to the ambiguity and generally more fast paced nature of the S;G0 VN when compared to the original Steins;Gate. The fact that White Fox needed to adapt a drama CD to better explain what happened to Mayuri and Suzuha and provide a better payoff for Steins;Gate 0 demonstrates both the confusion and the honestly underwhelming nature of this ending. I do have problems with the Steins;Gate 0 Anime (not the least of which being that S;G0 is a much harder story to adapt compared to S;G), but I think that the way they combined Vega & Altair and Milky Way Crossing, along with the drama CD, was incredible and really cemented how determined, intelligent, and self-sacrificing this Okabe is and gives a much better payoff to the hardships that all these characters suffered through.
Wayne Bruce The Drama CD’s are on RUclips. I think the one adapted at the end of the S;G0 Anime was called Arc Light of Infinity or something like that.
So Steins Gate 0 is in a way a prequel to the original? Going by okabe's speech which makes us reach the true ending and saving Makise Kurisu in the original.
On another note though. The scream we hear in the 1 episode is the scream from Okabe sticking his hand into his wound to "fake" Kurisu's death right? in this timeline where he doesn't do that shouldnt he theoretically not hear a scream which leads to Okabe not investigate where it comes from and the first D-mail not getting sent? Maybe im thinking wrong or forgot something, time is complicated stuff for me.....
no, it takes place during episode 23Beta worldline (they made a new special which you can watch first, then complete s;g0, then come back to the original 23 then 24)
lets say episode 1-22 of the Steins Gate and the ending is the 23beta is the prequel or Steins gate 0 and then 1-22 of the steins gate and the original ending ep 23 is the main series then ep 24 then 25 then the movie chronologically speaking I think...
Now the real question is, how did the Suzuha who came to world line 1.130205 know about Operation Skuld? Was she the one who grew up in the MWC timeline?
Yep, it's that little Suzuha watching everything. At 2036 she will travel back already knowing everything about Operation Skuld unlike the Suzuha that we've been following during the whole 0
Honestly I wonder more what became of the established timeline of Steins;gate 0, did it became sort of a loop where at a certain point everyone forget the events that led up to 2036 as it became a loop between 2011 and 2036 that at a certain point deviated from the events that led to 2036 to a brighter future? or did the events of 2036 continued? or maybe it was only Okabe that traveled between the time lines which saved only him in the end which is unlikely. Also one small problem, if the future Okabe instructed his past self does it not mean that the 2 versions of Okabe are vastly different, I mean it kinda goes against the Steins reader effect does it not?
quick question; so i completed Mayuri's ending and this one in the same playthrough, so i got the wallpapers for both endings at the same time. can someone tell me which is which? also which do you get for the bad end? i forgot to check when i completed that one...
@@underV- mayuri ending: okabe staying in his Kyouma pose, saying "that's my choice". background of that CG is red sky. true ending: okabe is records video to 2010 Okabe, saying what he needs to do to reach Steins Gate worldline.
I'm not sure I understand. Based on how worldlines work within this universe, shouldn't the worldline have changed immediately to Steins;Gate after Luka sends the video to 2010 Okabe? Or do they have to wait until 2036 for Suzuha to go back to 2011 to receive the second video? Furthermore, is it up to interpretation whether Operation Altair succeeded? Do we assume that Okabe died but Mayuri and Suzuha were able to return, or do we assume that all three died based on the dream sequence in the original S;G? Does this mean that the Steins Gate version of Okabe also dies in 2025? I'm very confused.
After the Steins Gate worldline is reached, everyone in the Beta worldline as they are now disappear and are instead replaced by themselves in the Steins Gate worldline. This is why none of them will ever know what happened in the Beta worldline, not even Okabe himself.
And because 0kabe left in the time machine to an unknown time, his Reading Steiner won't activate and everyone will live happy in the Steins Gate worldline. It's sad, 0kabe fought so hard for, in the end, something he won't experience. He will know that it exists, but will let himself in the past live happy and won't replace him. All the suffering... God.. This is a painful story indeed.
So remember the events that took place at the beginning of episode 12 of Stein's;Gate? Where Mayuri was looking for the original Okabe well this version of him is definitely the original and notice how it mentions attaching a miniature black hole underneath the time machine and with this he would be able to tell any world line that has time being tampered with well if your smart like I am then you'll know that if Okabe goes in the time machine and goes back basically to the beginning of time his reading steiner and that miniature black hole basically let's his memory travel through out time in any world line for ever guarding time it's self making sure there is no time machines built or world line tampering, notice through out the anime Okabe at times does get lost in thought and is sometimes out of character that is the memory of the original Okabe entering him and trying to see of the world line is being tampered with well that's my conclusion to genius theory
I don't know if I'm as 'smart' like you, but Mayuri from that episode said her herself that Okarin was abducted by some evil Organization and was sent to the past to which Mayuri, using the time machine, went on searching for him. This was quite a different story because Mayuri and Suzuha originally went to 2010 to continue the mission for S;G (but due to discrepancies, they were lost in Space-Time or something like that) and Okarin wasn't forced to be sent to the past. I might be wrong with minor details but that is what I have recalled.

(Edit: ok now that I think about it, I’ve only seen the anime and part of the VN from here, so while I’m trying to piece things together, there might be some or A LOT of mismatch of information. Read at your own risk.) Gathering from multiple comments here and other sources, what I think happened is this: Operation Altair has Okabe meet up with Mayuri and Suzuha after they ran out of fuel (from time traveling) so that he can supply them with more to help complete their mission (Operation Arclight) by contacting 2010 Mayuri and convincing her to slap Okabe. Then the Suzuha from 2036 goes back to 2010 (Beta worldline we see in beginning of SG) and tries to convince Okabe to try saving Kurisu again, but instead of Mayuri stopping her this time, she slaps Okabe. This allows Suzuha to show the video from future Okabe to 2010 Okabe. And THEN the Beta and Alpha worldlines disappear and Steins Gate worldline takes their place. Another explanation with additional information from another person on Reddit talks about there needing to be 3 components for Steins Gate to be achieved which is 1)Mayuri slapping Okabe (convinced by 2011 Mayuri some way or another; without Okabe needing to help refuel their time machine, which contradicts my theory), 2)Suzuha knowing about Operation Skuld (so this had to be the young (next) Suzuha in the Milk Way Crossing, since the (previous) Suzuha from beginning of SG0 originally doesn’t know about the video because this Suzuha is the one that only knew future Okabe in coma form), and then 3) Now that this next Suzuha knows about Operation Skuld, it means she has the video to show to 2010 Okabe from his future self. With these 3 components Steins Gate is opened. As for what happened in Operation Altair? Well, according to this guy, it’s implied that Okabe meets up with Mayuri and Suzuha stuck million years in the past and dies alongside them. But this is only possible if this is a parallel world, since the concept of the forming of Steins Gate wordline replacing Beta/Alpha worldlines should negate this.
I think it is impossible for reading steiner activating on passing from beta to STEINS;GATE worldline, because the future isn't fated there to be,so there isn't a certain place for 2025 okabe because the past still needs to happen, that makes impossible for the activation of reading steiner, that is why we didn't seen the activation.I also thinks that it is impossible to get in and to get out of the STEINS;GATE worldline aside from the events related on the 2010 convergence because of the posteriors reasson.Probably after okabe time travel everything ceased to exist on beta.
Maybe,it is a way of thinking i find it hard to be because i am using the movie as a refference, there shows a lot of interpretations for the 1.048596% worldline(a lot=2).One that Okabe cease to exist and other where he doesn't,because of that i think it is impossible for reading steiner to activate because tehre isn't an accurate place to be on STEINS;GATE worldline.
The reason Okabe goes back in time in the first place isn't really to save Mayuri and Suzuha but to avoid activating reading steiner which is why he has them wait until after he leaves to send the video.
Luan Maciel In the Beta drama CD that shows operation arc light which part of 0 is based on, Mayuri and Suzuha succeed in reaching August 21st and it's only after they leave that they become lost in time. Even if Okabe does nothing they will still reach the steins gate world line, it is merely an excuse for him to give everyone since he is essential committing suicide.
I dont't get this at all😑 Why is Kagari there as an adult and doesnt look like Yuki? And why does it matter if this Okabe uses the time machine to save Mayuri and Suzuha? Once the D-Mail are send, this worldline will be overritten by the the Steins Gate wordline anyway.
using the Steins;Gate logic that they "sometimes use" when the wold line change, everybody is still the same, but just living on other posibilities. but right here, or in another moments through S;G and Zero we can actually see that paralell universes seems more logic to explain everything. for example when they send the videos to the past they should instatly "cease to exist" or just change into the Steins;Gate worldline but none of those options happens witch can be seen as that they are actually in a parallel universe. the Steins;Gate worldline actually exist but they just sent the hint to okabe from 2010 to get into it but that doesn't mean that all of the other doomed worldlines that we saw through everything will cease to exist.
But what about Reading Steiner? Wouldnt that create a paradox, since infinite Okabes exist, whch all have Reading Steiner and they all get send to another world line?
However, 2025 Okabe's Reading Steiner would activate if he was still within that timeline. If he disappeared, that would mean that the memories of Steins;Gate Okabe would be kept.
The reason why the last operation is not pointless is because in the vega and altair ending it's unsaid weather Suzuha and Mayuri succeed, presumably they dont. Okabe goes back and gives them the needed battery and fuel to complete their mission and this observation of them succeeding is what changes the worldline back to 1.130205% where Okabe from 2010 can receive the video mail.
The world line didn't change because they still need Suzuha to eventually time travel to do all the thing to save Kurisu, remember the video wasn't activated until Suzuha showed up and they failed once right?
If I could respond I would appreciate it a lot. What happened to okabe after this trip to the past? In the anime only show suzuha in the machine but okabe? What happens with him Or am I crazy?
Do you remember in anime, okabe dream about world create for first time? Yup that spoiler, okabe fail to save mayuri after her go back with suzuha to tell mayuri 2010 to slap okabe 2010, after her tell mayuri 2010 to slap okabe, she and suzuha back on 2011 but sadly time machine suzuha out fuel and their trap in wormhole
IGameplay Mayuri and suzuha who travelled to the past to slap okabe (mayuri ending) got lost because their machine is malfunctioning/out of fuel, which throws them all the way to 70 mill years past. SG 0 okabe follows their time machine, but he stuck there too (hinted in anime, forgot the episode).
Man, I'm so disappointed in this vn. It took me a while to understand that it was all about the things Okabe had been gone through to reach first game's true end. The lackness of Makise Kurisu and Hououin Kyoma was also so sad. You only meet with Kurisu once in the game and that was my favorite moment honestly. This really makes me wanna play the first game again. PS: Also, Kagari resembling Kurisu, I was expecting some plot twist here like her being Kurisu and Okabe's child or something. Well, It's kinda impossible but there is a wasted potential on this character imo.
First, you need to get the kurisu's ending (The Promised Rinascimento) to send a d-mail to past, after that, you need to go through the Mayuri's ending (Vega and Altair). That's the way to get the true ending (Milky-way Crossing).
No I'm pretty sure that MWC will still be the ending to the anime. I liked the Promised Rinascimento more than Vega and Altair but it doesn't give too much closure to finish off the anime with PR over MWC.
So basically even Future Okabe manages to deceive the world in his own way: by using the time machine to disappear from his wordline, the convergence can't kill him, as there's no way for him to change the past nor the future. It's the same concept used to reach the True Ending in the first game by making Past Okabe believe Kurisu was dead, making the convergence unable to kill her since the past hasn't been changed.

using the Steins;Gate logic that they "sometimes use" when the wold line change, everybody is still the same, but just living on other posibilities. but right here, or in another moments through S;G and Zero we can actually see that paralell universes seems more logic to explain everything. for example when they send the videos to the past they should instatly "cease to exist" or just change into the Steins;Gate worldline but none of those options happens witch can be seen as that they are actually in a parallel universe. the Steins;Gate worldline actually exist but they just sent the hint to okabe from 2010 to get into it but that doesn't mean that all of the other doomed worldlines that we saw through everything will cease to exist.
What happens with him
Or am I crazy?
Do you remember in anime, okabe dream about world create for first time? Yup that spoiler, okabe fail to save mayuri after her go back with suzuha to tell mayuri 2010 to slap okabe 2010, after her tell mayuri 2010 to slap okabe, she and suzuha back on 2011 but sadly time machine suzuha out fuel and their trap in wormhole
And 2025 okabe, on this video decide to save mayuri and suzuha who trap in wormhole, sadly okabe is not jump to 2011 but to after world is made
Amrizal Fauzi didn’t understand a single shit of your grammar

Mayuri and suzuha who travelled to the past to slap okabe (mayuri ending) got lost because their machine is malfunctioning/out of fuel, which throws them all the way to 70 mill years past. SG 0 okabe follows their time machine, but he stuck there too (hinted in anime, forgot the episode).
Ronny Mahendra so it’s more of a sequel to that ending?
Man, that was sad...

この終わり方は流石にないわ
でも結局動画を送った瞬間に世界線が移動するわけだからこういう中途半端な終わり方になるのも理解できる。
This Ending Is after the kurisu Ending ( kurisu Ending will be the Anime Ending)
The's games plot and ending feels convoluted and is just complicated for the sake of it. The original had nice pacing but still a ton of filler.
make sequel for sequel. I hate it
