Oh man, I think I'm going to cry again if I re-watch the true ending. I actually pulled an all nighter getting this ending in the Visual Novel unintentionally and it was just a myriad of emotions all the way through. Either way, the ending was so touching and I felt a flood of accomplishment knowing that I experienced this alongside Okabe and managed to get him through all of that. It was even more satisfying when you also knew what all the other endings were and that you managed to see what could have happened if you hadn't made it this far.

voice acting and the amount of emotion the put into everything made me feel sad and i suffered a bit when i finished the anime and movie because i did not understand the ending at first but i seen the true ending and had a friend explain a bit more
just going to have to say im glad he was able to get to the r world line and she was able to find him etc etc
      made me feel better :P

If you love Steins;Gate, you should check out the rest of the Science Adventure series (that S;G is a part of, it's just one part of the SciADV series, it's not its own self contained series alone). Science Adventure is an interconnected narrative that the S;G cast is only a single part of, they all take place in the same world and follow different casts who deal with different facets of science fiction in the world, while also battling a conspiracy in the shadows (this group being the people who were behind SERN in Steins;Gate). However, the S;G cast is still relevant in these other entries, so if you enjoyed S;G, I highly recommend reading the other visual novels (don't watch their anime adaptations though, they're really bad unlike S;G's 2 adaptations, either read their VNs or just don't bother). But if you really do want to see the continuation of Okabe and co's stories, they do happen in the other Science Adventure games.

wow so the change between world line A and world line B is not whether Makise lives or dies, but its what Oka-.. Kyouma sees at that moment. daaaayuumm this is the best VN/anime ever.

Steins Gate worldline is a unique and peaceful world line that is situated between the alpha and beta world line. The nature of both those world lines cancel each other out, resulting in the Steins Gate world line.

You are right, Okabe has to see Kurisu lying there dead to send the first d-mail, that's what the world has chosen, whether she dies or not doesn't matter.

I played the game with the help of a walkthrough but i messed up so i got kurisu's ending at first. When i actually got the true ending later i thought i was still at kurisu's ending but then halfway through the credits Daru picks up the call and the credits rewind and Chapter 11: Open the Steins Gate appeared i almost cried tears of blood because the presentation of the true ending is such a masterpiece.

"Did it hurt...? I'm sorry. But I did it... to save you."

Because if you pause first temp in ep 22 and go to ep 23 beta and them steins gate zero, and when you finally go back to ep 23 of the first temp and continues. The things will be much more dramatic.
Because you will know the whole pain that okabe have to finally get to this moment. Making this moment even more special.

Technically mentally this Okabe is actually more than 15 years old since after he was downloaded as an Amadeus he did a lot of time leaping from 2036 to 2011 and then created the time machine finally in 2015. Meaning he is at least 16 years older mentally.

      Nope
That Okabe is in another time line who goes at last to save Suzuha and Mayuri
This Okabe is the one which gets the message from future Okabe and thus resulting in steins gate world line
This Okabe doesn't know anything about Amadeus or Maho ,Kagari etc

It makes sense, but it doesn't entirely match up. The main issue is that the scream heard in the original ß world line is the same one future Okabe makes when he saves Kirisu by opening his wound further in that alternate ß world line. For this to be the case, Okabe would have had to travel back three times: Once to screw up, a second where he forgot about switching the Upa (original ß), and a third to completely prevent WW3 (second ß), but this isn't the case as only two travels were made.

I am 8 years too late lol. Want I think after reading so many theory's about steins gates is in this case I think okabe would stumble across kurisui regardless of his future self. Remember how that dmail that was black and the time machine where there, well it first lets say none of that happed but regardless it will still happen. The whole story we were told it doesn't matter what the cause is all that matters is the effect. Time travel is confusing so any theory can be used

No, I saw that the world line convergence number was different. The original world line, the one that started this entire story, had a different world line convergence number compared to the world line where Okabe went back in time and changed what Upa Mayuri got. The numbers are very slightly off, but they are both technically the 'Beta' world line. Did you understand all of that?

Unless I'm just missing something, I'm kind of confused about something in the story. If Okabe went back in time and changed what Upa Mayuri got, wouldn't that mean that WW3 would have never been a concern in the first place? After all, they were on the Beta world line at the start and when Okabe went to save Kurisu. Future Okabe was obviously present at that time, and yet Mayuri still got a metal Upa despite that he took it so she wouldn't get it. How is that possible?

    • @minglimchau1335
      @minglimchau1335 6 лет назад +6

Don't know if you've got it after 4 years haha.
The "Future Okabe" that you mentioned, is the one that sends you the video D-mail. It is likely that he failed to save Kurisu and kept trying, from first building the time machine, and now telling you the plan of Operation Skuld. In other words, getting the metal Upa is the plan of the "Present Okabe". The "Future Okabe" who killed Kurisu himself did not attempt to get the metal Upa. Evidence is that the "Future Okabe" needed "Present Okabe" to experience killing Kurisu himself once in order for "Future Okabe" to have the incentive to build time machine. He is likely to have given up after killing Kurisu, and didn't try to go back anymore, which is why he had that incentive

But if you really do want to see the continuation of Okabe and co's stories, they do happen in the other Science Adventure games.

its like from the anime why is this the true ending? ._. or is that a comparison with the light/visual novel?

The visual novel itself has different endings and this is the true one.

Joshino Joo Well, naturally the anime would follow the game's True End. You're not missing much though, as the original visual novel essentially have a linear plot, with the other heroine's endings being simply short side-stories. Only Mayuri's end and Kurisu's non-true end could be considered true alternate endings but that's only because they come right before you can start Kurisu's true end (aka the game's True End) and even that's stretching it.

Well, she did an amazing job!!! I didn't think she sounded like the characters she played while she was singing, though.

Joka Keekian Its almost impossible without a guide. Basically you have to get all 6 true ending falgs by correctly replying to mails from Kurisu throgh the whole game starting from chapter 2. Here is the link to walkthrough

So I'm just starting the game, btw, watched anime. Can anyone give me an advice, I'm a Kurisu fan, but I know that there are multiple endings in the game, should I go for a, so called, True Ending or Kurisu Ending, no spoilers, please.

If you really want the best experience in a visual novel, don't ask for advice. Just do what you think is right.

All alt endings are bad endings anyway, you're being lead to the true ending. I hope you had fun.
