I really admire her the way she is transforming the way we look at waste. Treating it as an asset and using innovation to recycle the same.

Being into garment industry for years & now into Eco-friendly package free products, we feel the same pinch when new scrap is wasted or thrown.
Somewhere this all has to stop.
The power is in the hands of customers.
No government or organisation can help to reduce waste.
Only we can, if we want to 🙏🌍🌿

Hey Paiwand worriers, I loved the thought process which was put into action and claimed, this is what will bring change to our society and broadened our vision. What I also observe was that the text captions on the video, lives for very short duration (unless pausing the video to read the texture in the text), making it somewhat difficult to get the essence of procedure put behind the design thinking. Since these captions are the main source of information depicting the great work confluence. Good to optimize the transition bit slow or give a breath to the text captions, which will make viewers understand the innovative idea being nurtured from the house of Paiwand. Happy thinking.

The idea to make dye out of flowers to use them at their full potential is good. The intention to help human trafficking victims is also great but calling flowers waste and temples create lot of flower waste is not good at all without understanding the proper intentions behind using flowers at temples and intentions behind flowing flowers into rivers. Also flowers flow in the river, they get fully decomposed and become food for water plant and animals..it doesnt hurt marine life. Waste like plastic, chemical waste run out of factories such textile, cosmetics, plastic, oil, petrochemicals, fertilizer and pesticides ...all those hurt marine life...also when flowers, fruits and plant seeds travel through water, their seeds gets dispersed throughout river's shores....that's how plants, flowers, fruit trees grows along the rivers and in nature. Also marigold flowers has many medicinal healing antiseptic anti inflammatory properties and so is many other flowers have such properties...they wont hurt marine life..and please dont call it waste. There is science behind the ritual of flowing flowers into rivers. Come up with different use is good thing but you dont have to put old rituals down to sell your idea.
