Obsession was named as the best kpop song of 2019 by billboard. Exo kills whatever they bring on the table. This album is just fire. You should react to live performance of Exo. They're the vocal Kings and legends of kpop.

I've been a multi kpop stan since 2012 & I ain't lying when I'm saying EXO has the most diverse and best discography in kpop.

For Obsession album, EXO is back into the depths of their darker concepts, by facing off with their evil and sinister halves, the X-EXO. Hence you see in the MV, the good versus bad concept.

And hence the whole album can be divided into songs sung by X-EXO and EXO.
EXO has 9 members. During this era, two members were in military, and one member was in China.

Exo has music for everybody, Ex'Act is my favorite Exo album 😂 but one thing, they may try many different genres but the quality is never going down. They also made me like many genres that I never thought of even giving a try

2:14 that was Chen, one of main vocalists. He is known as Kdrama OST king. The other hair you mentioned twas Baekhyun, another main vocalist more known as the genius idol. EXO soloists are record breakers too aside from the group. EXO's mvs are a continuation of their previous mvs following their concept and this mv is about their alter ego X-EXO that's why it's dark including the tracks. For bside Jekyll is my favorite.
I think "the war", "don't mess up my tempo", and "exodus" are my favorite album, but i like all their albums. Thank you for your reaction :)
Once again, I am convinced that EXO is the biggest diamond, not only in the entire history
of sm, but in the entire history of the K-POP industry. It's been 10 years, but I haven't seen

EXO is a diamond not only of SM but of the entire K-POP industry. I sincerely apologize, but the visual effects of EXO are too powerful, as soon as they appear on the stage, they capture you with their dazzle, not letting you go until the very end. It's a repackage album for Don't Mess Up My Tempo. If possible, react to their live performances as EXO sound better live than studio version and with their choreo, they always produce master pieces
CHEN the "hair" n the "poodle" hair guy 🤭
He hv youtube channel called CHEN where he uploaded his cover of songs that he like or suggestion from fans.
He also has released 3 solo albums so far :

Oh you will love "The War: Power of Music" (Repackage) from EXO too. Its so experimental! Its my favorite album, Obsession being a close second (and yeah, i love the first half of it way more than the second half too). The War is just very freaky and some songs need a few listens to get used to.
EXO is a 9 members group but there were only 6 members for Obsession album bcos Xiumin and D.O. were in military (both are discharged now) and Lay (the only Chinese member) is currently having solo activities in China.
EXO will have full group comeback this year, expect to be in Q2

The crop top guy, Kai, is exo's main dancer and he's also a great soloist, with 2 non skip banger albums, KAI and Peaches. He's gonna realease a third album, Rover, on March 13th, teasers are coming out and it looks to be another AOTY. Check his solo stuff out, you wont regret it

This is my number one EXO album Obsession...all songs are fire and vibes, Groove is my my number one favourite song in this album.

Like the EXO Obsession Album was a surprise for u. I was surprised at how balanced a review you gave the album, -as previously your focus (or obsession 😇) has been/seems to be predominately BTS, who are not as dark as EXO. I am glad you have widened the net to other groups or even solo albums as your commentary was entertaining. Who knows after listening to EXO "Sweet lies" or watching "Gravity" you may choose to come over to the dark side of EXO.

This album is all about duality, as you can see in the Obsession MV (and the contrast between the bridge and the rest of the song). That's why you have darker and brighter songs in the album.

The concept of the album is X-EXO (evil clones/inner evilness) VS EXO (normal / good side) explains why half of the songs are dark and the other half is light 🖤
The worst thing about this album for me is it’s missing three members. Two were enlisted in the military and Lay, the Chinese member was limited in his promotions with the group.
Do Kyungsoo is just incredible in every sense. He is one of the few vocalists who can make your heart flutter and cause a storm of emotions. He manages his deep voice and sweet timbre with such ease that the same part can sound completely different "starting very roughly and ending unrealistically gently". Kyungsoo's unique voice gives each song a unique charm. I'm ready to listen to his voice as much as I want.! Even when Kyungsoo just speaks, he wants to listen and listen to endlessly, such a pleasant voice.

I've followed your channel since your video on Exact, and while I've seen many more of your videos I've low-key been waiting for more EXO videos, and this really delivered!
Obsession's whole concept is about EXO vs X-EXO (if we go by their lore, EXO are aliens and X-EXO are their evil clones) so the first half is X-EXO while they are turning into EXO as the album goes on.
And I'm glad you liked this album! It's one of their best in my opinion, and I can't wait for you to listen to Don't Mess Up My Tempo, Universe or The War, which are all my favorites from them.

You should watch their live performances. They are Really really good. I am not into K pop concerts or any concerts for that matter, however after seeing Exo's live performances clips, I regret I didn't know them back then ..Hope i still got chance One day for their future concerts.
I can't describe how much I love the voice and vocals of Chanyeol and this is the main rapper
of the group that's what the KINGS OF VOCALS OF ALL K-POP means. Chanyeol has a great command of his voice and I really like how it

I suggest The War or you may go straight to The Power of Music since that’s the repackage version of The War. Another album suggestion is Countdown (a Japanese album)

the album seems to change themes because of the concept. The dark half being xexo(their couterparts in the lore haha) and exo the ogs. If its all dark then there would be no vs. theme. Hopefully that makes sense

I think that with groups like EXO and BTS, that have such a extense discography, you can hate one album and love another lol glad you liked some of the songs!! I love them being dark and creepy
