Holy cow, I’m glad you got it done, and didn’t get hurt. I’ve known guys who have had set up like that come crashing down. One was killed. Especially when you get pounding, pulling, shaking things. Never get under something like with only a Jack, use stand, wooden blocks, anything that will stop it from coming down on you. Even if it damages the vehicle if it comes down, at least it’s not damaging you! Otherwise, good for you saving another old suburban. Looks good.
Here's a few tips, Safety first! Never get under a car that's only held up by hydraulic jacks, use jack stands. Next time jack up vehicle, support the frame with jack stands. Use your hydraulic jack to raise and lower the axle as level as possible, that prevents the spring and shackle bolts from binding when one wheel droops, and the bolts will slide out much easier. Good job getting it done, looks great.

Hi there! Thank you so much for watching and liking! Unfortunately, I believe that it will not work on a 2wd. If I recall correctly, the front end suspension is different.
Hi there! Thank you so very much for watching, lol I can see how it would have looked a bit sketchy from that angle, but I can assure you, the truck was well supported from different points.
