Hello, but you were talking about this Motopower MP00205C model that load differently from each other and similar models like 205a or 205b
    THANK YOU

Seems to work ok. It took a little while before the unit started to work the first time around, but seems to charge my GoldWing battery just fine. It became quite hot while charging though which is unusual for a charger but once charged and in maintenance mode, it cooled off. Not sure this is normal. The jury is still out on this purchase...

If battery are depleted i will become hot, same for me. But the hot i rate as warm, seems to adjust the volts after temperature spme what, might been why it was high volts for me when wrote it. But the 'idle' volt are a tad high, as might run water acit batteries dry if leve it running for 6months like on a bike over winter.
Charger do boil the battery, supposed to do this to clean plates, so might get 'dry acid' around battery if left in bike during long unatended charge.
I have two, been great this far, for price they really good.

@@t3g3lst3n I bought this because of the low price. I have many other expensive chargers which work well, so as I said, still not sure this is a good unit. If it drys out an expensive motorcycle battery then it is worse than garbage. Only using it during the Covid shutdown to keep the battery charged. Over the winter, the battery comes in and is added to my professional 4 outlet charger.

@@Claudio-zk3dt quote in english "maintenance voltage at 13.40v is correct the acid should not boil over 14v the maintenance is no longer good try with other chargers to measure the charge and maintenance volts LET ME KNOW THANKS"

i have more then one of "Motopower MP00205C" they charge slightly differently, volts are ok in video, but if keep a water battery in charge 24/7 u will need to add water (i worked with big UPS systems in 90s, it was a regular thing to add acid+water mix to them as needed) most water batteries in cars fails as get 'dry' inside, as level in battery get lower so do do CCA and capacity basically.
This video over 3 years old now, chargers still work ok.
