Looks like you had a good time Bald Eagle State Forest. I spent time in that country when I was little in the 50s I knew where you were, I stayed up at the second camp in Bull Hollow My uncle built it in 1918 his name was Don Shindle, he was the fire lookout for many years. He was born in 1900 and died in 1969. I was nice to spend a few of my summers with him.
Thanks for sharing that - we thought the camps were so interesting so it is great to hear from someone who has a history with them. I would imagine these camps are a great place to spend some time!
