@@jamescarroll384 It'd be nice if they could at least mention when a game came from a different platform (e.g. Octopath Traveler). If it wasn't so tight-lipped they could of done a video of games they want to play on Playstation that aren't on it yet. Similar to Tuesday checklist.
This was intelligent conversation because Rosie wasn't there. Always makes me laugh on live streams when Dave's jokes go right over her head.

A few notes on the Intro block, as that's as far as I have gotten thus far:
*As someone who is bilingual with French, I'm impressed at Dave's recollection of words! Pronunciation wasn't too bad either, for someone who likely doesn't have the chance to practice it very much! (Rosie's attempt at French pronunciation in the FF was hilarious!)
*It is true that bananas are *radioactive*. Radioactive atoms emit *radiation* energy particles, so both Ash and Dave are correct. The amount of radiation exposure you would get from eating bananas is absolutely tiny, though - you would need to eat 100 of them to match the general radiation exposure from natural radiation in the environment.

The geek in me felt the need to resolve the misunderstanding at the beginning. Radioactivity is the process by which molecules give off radiation. They’re more or less the same thing, radiation is the byproduct of a radioactive molecule. Also radio waves are just a specific frequency of radiation, radiation is all photons, but we categorize them (gamma, infrared, ultraviolet, radio, microwave, etc.) based on their frequency.

Would love to see a year-end top PSA picks of the year, not just GOTY but also games you think have excelled in a certain category like graphics, sound, or genre this year. Sort of PSA game awards but instead of choosing one it is top 3 or 5.
My final five - Persona 5 Royal, Final Fantasy 16, DMC5 SE, GoW Ragnarok, Spider-Man Remastered. I was going to pick Horizon FW over SM but the swinging mechanics in SM are just too much fun.
Absolutely loved the theme of this podcast! A great way to talk about all the delicious treats we have on PS5. And also so glad we aren’t really restricted to just 5! Rob and Dave, you guys gotta play Control, it’s fantastic. And in return (no pun intended) I’m going to check out Returnal. Keep on being awesome!

I only just got through Control because I’m on a pre Alan Wake 2 Remedy binge and loved it, but I totally noticed how similar it felt in some ways to Returnal, both great games!

#podsquad and #vodsquad I love videos like this cos I get so many good recommendations from you guys. I finally just played What Remains of Edith Finch after Rob has sang it’s praises so many times and what an experience that was! A truly beautiful game. After I played it, I went to watch the stream where Dave played it and enjoyed the game all over again.
I also recently watched the podcast where you talked about hidden PlayStation gems and instantly downloaded all the ones you suggested! Gris and Pode both happened to be on sale at the time so it was perfect!
Also adding that most of the games you suggested here, are included with the top tier of PlayStation plus which I have so I’ll definitely be trying these!

Dave, definitely keep championing Marvel's Midnight Suns!!! Everyone should know about it. Mix X-com tactics and base building,with the social interactions of a Bioware game, and a card deck builder like Slay the Spire or Marvel Snap, snd you have Midnight Suns!!! Rob and Ash, you should definitely take the time to play it.

My 5 would be God of War Ragnarok, Sniper Elite 5, Star Wars Jedi Survivor, Final Fantasy 16 and Uncharted Legacy of Thieves. The Sniper Elite franchise has to be one of the most under-rated games by the PS Access team as they hardly ever mention it, let alone play them. You can turn off the killcam if the X-ray cam is an issue but the last 4 games have all been some of my favourite games of all time.
Science fact: A cat's purr calms anxiety and is extremely soothing. So Stray could be a lifesaver in a desperate situation such as being stranded on a deserted island.
I saw the episode and it was great you gotta fry plantains at a high heat and they can be sweet, which I like, or hard and you put Garlic on them.
The medium is a game I played recently that I throughly enjoyed reminded me of silent hill

My 5 would be Jedi Survivor (for the star wars itch), Returnal (to give myself a challenge), FF16 (for the feels), Fifa (for mindless fun), and finally RE4 remake (to have something perfect coz all my other picks are imperfect in their own ways).
Rather than a desert island, it should be exiled to a mountain cabin. Just to take the edge off the much more stressful and depressing dessert island

Crosscode, Super monkeyball bannana mania, elden ring, a knights quest and re4 remake.
Crosscode and SMB are great choices!
@Space_Noise super monkey ball is one of those things that's easy to pick up but hard to master and I think it as a choice it is very fun but also super repayable. I've only done crosscode once and that's because you know the backlog but it feels like a game that no matter how many times I solve the same puzzles its gonna feel special or great everytime. The combat and bosses are all so super memorable too.
I kinda wish the sections of natural conversation weren't hurried along, I gey you guys have a schedule to adhere to but we love just hanging with you guys, especially the random stories

I got Dead by Daylight for Nicolas Cage, but i got the release date and thought he was coming out for it last month.

Returnal is the best game i've played since... Doom: Eternal. i don't even like shooters that much- but these two games scratched the HARD ACTION itch that DMC V didn't (for me- i liked it on normal, but playing as V on hard mode made me not try any further difficulty levels).
also- MAN i love The Quarry! pop pop peanut butter butter pops! pop pop pop 'em in your mouth!

Dragon Quest XI is an all time favourite for me! Never see it get any love
I love it too, It was my goty over god of war 2018. But I think it's just because it was a PS4 game that it's not brought up much anymore. But definitely still holds up and I'd recommend anyone play it even now.
Also dragon quest builders 1+2 but 2 especially is absolutely delightful. But Dq11 is just one of the best jrpgs of all time. It feels like the best ps1 final fantasy game but it looks absolutely gorgeous.
Absolutely can't wait for dragon quest 12.

If you have the internet on the desert island. I cant think of a better game than ff14. Its basically infinite content and its so social.
