That first Monday after they left I came home to an empty house. Instead of my girls' smiles greeting me I had to turn on my kitchen light and see how empty the place was. It took a month for me to move out, and every night was spent drinking beer and Jameson, and sleeping on the living room floor because I codn't sleep in my bed. Sleeping in the living room staring at a noose hanging from the ceiling telling myself I could end all the pain by slipping my head through it. It's a dark place. It's a place no one should have to go. Thank God I made it through that, and thank God the Hulkster made it too. He is the earliest childhood hero I had. This inspires me and hopefully it will inspire others who find themselves in a similar situation.
I'm 55 yrs old and have a very similar life story. From being on top to hitting bottom, changing my thinking and finding true love to being able to be able to smile and it working. I like this story and it made my day and it's given me a push even more, to keep breathing and pushing forwards, thank brother.
