Indeed, i play a lot of games made in rpg maker/wolf, i am a fan about this styles of games, in fact i want to make a channel about this games some time in the future, anyways i can told you my favorites: Obviously Pocket mirror, Wadanohara and the great blue sea, Hello Charllotte, Ib, Forest of drizzling rain, Dreaming mary, Fantasy maiden's odd hideout, Close your eyes, Alice mare, Yume nikki, Off. Probably i forget some, but anyways. Did you play a lot of this games too? Which are your favorites?
indeed I do. I watched/played all of the games you mentioned as favorites, with the exception of close your eyes (I don't think I ever even heard of it, although the name is familiar. what is it about?). As for favorites, uh, that is always complicated. Pocket Mirror is easily the one I like the most, after that, it's harder to stabilish a clear sequence, but angels of death may come as second. I enjoyed OFF (and it's amazing fangame HOME) and Hello Charlotte, Lieat 1bitheart and alice mare are also pretty good. I will have to see where I will put Faust Amptraum when I finish it.
Close your eyes is about the MC is going to be hanged for kill people, but he/she/it escape and begin a strange journey, that's basically, because the game is free of interpretation (Buuut, the devolper is going to relase the second part that maybe explain some stuff) Anyways the game is free in steam, so check it out, expect some jump scares tho. I dont really like that much Angel of death, sure it is a good game, but i think he/she first game is even better but again, is just my opinion. OFF for some weird reasons have too many fan games, i didnt play it tho, but i am going to do it if you said it is amazing. And finally, i dont like much Faust, dont get me wrong y love the last 2 chapters, but the first 2 were too slow... I really hate that rats...
hmm, maybe I will check that out, but I don't like games that leave so much for interpreration that there isn't much actual fact to theorize about (sure I enjoyed OFF and hello charlotte, but they are exceptions, not to mention hello charlotte is still unfinished) I mostly like the chatacters of angels of death, I admit that otherwise it's not that great, though it has good drama, some philosophy and good music. home is less surrealistic than OFF... in a way. I feel like it's diferent, while at the same time it doesn't lose too much of the original's properties. are you folowing manly's a rose in the twilight videos? if so, what do you think of it?
I see, i am playing HOME and for now, so far so good, my only complain is the atmosphere, it fells a lot less depressing (Well, i still in zone 2, knowing what happens at the end of the zone i know this is going to be fixed ) Indeed the theme about god in angel of death is interesting but i didnt really like the MC, and less the antagonist but that must be only me. And, no i am not folowing the rose in the twlight , mostly beacuse i just found the game before the Manly upload it, and i want to buy it myself (But 20 USD are too expensive at least in my country, so i dunno what to do...) Is that good that game?
