No one takes the SC seriously because there are no consequences for the violation of its order. For example, CJI ordered WB government to implement its recommendations to improve safety within 2 weeks. Yet, only some 22 percent of the required tasks were completed by the WB government. What were the consequences for the government? Nothing. Zilch. Nada. Zero. Rather, violation of the SC’s order MUST be tied to financial consequences. A suggestion would be that if any state government violates the SC’s order, it will be deemed to be in contempt of the Supreme Court with serious financial consequences. For example, central government funds or GST revenues going to the state will be withheld until such time as the shortfalls or gaps are rectified. THERE MUST BE SOME CONSEQUENCES FOR DISOBEYING YOUR ORDER. OTHERWISE, YOUR ORDERS ARE NOT WORTH THE PAPER THEY ARE WRITTEN ON. WHAT’S THE USE OF PASSING ORDERS WHICH WILL BE IGNORED? SOON, SC WILL COME TO BE KNOWN AS A TOOTHLESS TIGER. IN FACT, IT HAS ALREADY EARNED THAT DISTINCTION.
Mamata is paying 21 lawyers to defend and the state of WB is paying for it. Do you really think she cares for financial consequences? The tax payers pay for everything. SC is already a toothless tiger. The sad reality is that this is all a drama that will soon be forgotten.

In every sector Govt is lacking policy and procedure. Terns and conditions. Don't all the suspects, accomplices, criminals who are involved in PG Doctor's murder/rape/ molestation etc. Gang rape and murder. How come they still at work? They should be suspended until all investigations are concluded. Upon that time the results will follow. Then start to prosecute. There is no order and system. No regulations and rules whatsoever. Am I correct in saying this? Covering up the scene of the rape and murder scene. Even students list tgeir lives during protest. So what action will be taken? Bodies are sold, organs are sold, there maybe many other offenses here. Tenders being manipulated. So much more to uncover.
The head should be held responsible. Until now the head is free. The account department should be given strict instructions that no transactions should be made. Accounts department should be placed in a trust fund OR the culprits and the head should not have excess to any budgets. Putting up higher walls, demolishing the building of the crime scene all cost a lot of money. Instantly, once the crime was exposed. The accounts department shouldn't be in the hands of the suspects, accomplices, criminals, and all those who false reporting and miss leading the investigations. Have youl followed policy and procedures.? Disclaimers etc. Policies and procedures? These are the steps to be taken. Correct me if I'm wrong? Justice 🙏 please 😢
