PUBLIC NOTICE CYCLONE
We will be taking a helicopter in this Wednesday 22nd February 2023 to Patoka, Puketitiri, Tutira area as they are isolated.
If you would like to donate and help in the following ways it is much appreciated;
Donations on Monday 20th Feb & Tuesday 21st Feb:
DOG FOOD IS URGENT - cat food, chook food - animals need food too!
Generators - fuel for generators as they have no power in these areas and are relying on generators.
Non perishable food items (canned goods, UHT milk, noodles, dried pasta, camp stoves, canisters for the stoves, ladies sanitary items, nappies, formula etc etc anything that won't go bad.
Perishables: i.e. bread, fruit, veg, milk, butter, cheese etc etc. If you want to bring it that is ok but needs to be in chilly bins with ice as we have no way of storing it. Please bring it TUESDAY LATE AFTERNOON, if you cannot get it in chilly bins please bring it WEDNESDAY BETWEEN 6AM-8AM no later as the helicopter is leaving.
GF/DF ITEMS ARE ALSO APPRECIATED
Please bring everything in bags and boxes with spare bags and boxes if you can so we can sort it all once it arrives for all the different areas - this is getting disturbed correctly as we know a lot of the drops haven't been.
